He insisted on doing that top button up and I don't know why he did that. I don't know what he was thinking but I love it. Moments like that you trust your lead actor. We all had input into it, we all have a say, but at the same time, we actually kind of sat back and went, "You're the man"

come on reblog this my grandma told me this joke and was convinced she was going to be famous on tumblr for it

every time my mom and grandma get into an argument my grandma says “excuse me pamela i am famous on the tumbler”

So... ok, if the TARDIS came back before the ship exploded, that means she wasn't actually running away from the explosion. I mean, why would she, she's been in exploding ships before and she was fine.

So that means she was running from the edge of the universe. Except if that were the case, she wouldn't have been able to come back, because the edge of the universe is still there. So she must have been running from the Not-Things.

Because, as established, it takes time for the Not-Things to learn how to copy things. They need to study you, read you, before they can become you. The TARDIS coming back at the eleventh hour meant they didn't have that opportunity.

This does mean that without the HADS, there would have been a Not-TARDIS, and I think that would be the actual scariest monster in all of Doctor Who.

Does anyone else think it's an indication, or some kind of foreshadowing, that the Doctor and Donna are changing way more than they intend to while crashing about in the Tardis? More than they SHOULD BE ABLE to change?

Same with the salt/superstition thing. The Doctor talked about things becoming true/real because people believe them. Is that what the ending was? A plane fell out of the sky, is that because lots of people look at them and believe they shouldn't be able to fly?

I don't know exactly what I'm getting at. My thoughts haven't settled yet. But things felt very... off, in that episode. Unreal. Like the walls are thin.
