I like this tiny detail of Zuko’s development throughout the series, in season 1, After Zuko didn’t listen to iroh about the thunderstorm approaching, he very hesitantly apologises to him, taking a while to properly say sorry since he wasn’t great at apologies and found it hard to make the first move.

But in season 3, he PROUDLY tells his dad that he wasnt going to hesitate in apologizing to iroh, even begging for his forgiveness if he had to.
