Virgil had a huge crush on King when they were younger. Huge. King made flowers and spiders for Virgil. He wrote him poems and music and songs. They were young preteens when the Split happened. Virgil was oddly torn between the twins for a while before deciding that neither of them were his King and both of them were assholes.
Sometimes, the twins reference things King created for Virgil. Like they hum the music without thinking. When they became adults, Virgil realized just how similar the twins were to King. He developed a bit of a crush on them both after that.
(Maybe he ends up in a poly relationship with them)
