Wanted to listen to a pacers podcast to get a fans perspective on last night and just hear what they’re thinking so I checked out the “Setting The Pace” pod. Within the first 5 minutes (after 3 minutes of an intro song?) they’ve already said how poorly the game was officiated, said Brunson 44 points was a playoff career high (it’s not lol), and said McBride was fouling Halliburton the whole game on defense, and basically called out that Brunson didn’t actually hurt his foot. I mean, even their fans can’t own a loss.

Are there any good psychology podcasts out there? Not interested in pop psych or pseudo psych (looking at you Mr. Peterson). Something that discuses actual scientific psych.

Im looking for something with a very intriguing investigation. My favorite part of any true crime is the investigation, learning why and how investigations go in certain directions until they narrow in on a specific suspect/s and get solved. I’m looking for a long form show or single episodes that covers a well done investigation in the original case or a good independent investigation in an older case. I’m open to any type of crime that falls under the true crime genre

I created a condensed version of all of Huberman's podcasts for myself because I wanted to know the protocols/takeaways, but I don't have hours to listen to each episode.

I don’t know what word to use, but I’m looking for a podcast on topics such as internet mysteries, dark Reddit stories and subreddits, dark 4chan stories, dark web stories, strange and unsolved disappearances, lost media, etc.

As a millennial woman I am SO burnt out of all the hyper productivity "girl boss" content that is out there in terms of podcasts. I love a small podcaster who doesn't have a ton of followers that is posting things they love. I am yet to find what I am looking for...ideas?

PS. Anyone else hate that you can't sort podcast episodes by most popular? This really bothers me because so many podcasts these days have thousands of episodes.

I’m sorry but these people are just talking to talk. Claudia is literally googling conversational topics they can talk about during the podcast?!?! And then picks the most basic question about life goals? Like successful podcasters have an agenda and it makes sense and the chemistry of the hosts just flows from there. I get these people are related but in this context they have zero chemistry or anything insightful to say. I literally feel like I’m watching people who are just trying to get started with their YouTube channel and they are struggling to be interesting and these people have so many followers. Like what?????

The things they talk about are the same every week that Jen went after trash boyfriends, Claudia is a gold digger (which she fights to the end against- honey you couldn’t afford the house you live in now if you didn’t have Jesse and let’s be honest that was always your goal- you may not have known how much money he had when you started talking but you def stayed in the relationship because you saw the potential and wouldn’t be with him long term if he didn’t- I digress) Brandon is just a weirdo and Kennedy lives in New York! Like woof. Couldn’t finish it this weeks episode. It’s honestly hard to watch.

I wanted to make a long and detailed post regarding how insane and maniacal the Battlefront II hacker community is and how it is the reason why most if not all Battlefront II streamers and players have moved on to different games and refused to return to it. I want to bring some light to what me, and other Battlefront II PC streamers have been dealing with.

Just a little bit of background about myself, I am a college student who streams as a hobby a few times a week and have been streaming for about 4 years now. I'm a known streamer in the Battlefront II community and have to deal with death threats, multiple swattings, hackers, etc. I am done staying silent about what I go through on a daily basis.

Over these past few months I have been SWATTED, twice, by a group of hackers that roam this game in efforts to "kill" it. One swat call was made and they told officers that I had a "grenade" and in the second one, they told officers that I had killed my family and that I was going to "burn the house down". It makes me sick to think about, getting swatted is something no one should ever have to deal with. Most people would agree that I'm a pretty positive streamer, it makes me wonder why I was the one who got targeted like this. These hackers go after any and every streamer they can and after every other streamer left, I was the only streamer they could target. The fact that these hackers are willing to go to the lengths to literally call in threats to my house is insane, I have been swatted now at my college and my home, and now I have to deal with the whole investigation mess. NO STREAMER should EVER have to deal with this, and I don't wish it on my worst enemy. After my swatting, other hackers and even a streamer have been "celebrating" the swatting as they've won some kind of battle. It's really sad, but honestly, it's the same level of immaturity that I've been seeing for years now and it sucks that the Battlefront II community houses so many of these crazies. I partly blame EA for not keeping up with the game AT ALL to the point where there are mods where hackers can use fucking dev tools. On top of that, when there was a mod created that could crash lobbies, EA came back to fix just that and only that, so they fixed just one aspect of the dev tools, but still didn't make it to where normal ass players couldn't access them in the first place, but that's a topic for a different day. Some of you hackers really need to look at the mirror and get a fucking life, you are sad and pathetic. It's truly sad to see on such a game that everyone, including myself had such high hopes for. I have also found that there are hackers who pay other hackers literal hundreds of dollars to "hunt" me all day. If you don't know know, there is a hack in Battlefront II that allows these hackers to spam admin chat in a goldish text that everyone sees in chat. These hackers would straight up post my FULL NAME, ADDRESS, etc, for everyone to see, it's beyond messed up. While posting these messages in chat, they would repeatedly tell me that they are going to kill me. These hackers have serious mental issues and I believe it all stems from the lack of attention that these kids get IRL. It's almost like they need to feel "powerful" through preying on innocent streamers just trying to play the game.

If you're thinking about streaming Battlefront II, please don't, its not worth the pain of dealing with these mentally insane individuals who want nothing more than to harm you and your family.

Stay away from this game.

It just occurred to me that KF picked a good time to sunset those podcasts when some of the biggest news are hitting the public from both xbox and ps. It's actually quite funny.

As of now I've already caught up with the usual suspects - Darknet Diaries, Hackable? and Malicious Life. I was wondering if there are other cybersecurity podcasts worth checking out? Doesn't have to be technical per se.

I have listened to about 10,000 hours of podcasts and LOVE storytelling ones. So I have gone through This American Life, Moth, Risk, Ear Hustle, Snap Judgment, Spooked, Criminal, and all the ones that get suggested along with those. I’m looking for anything like those that I may be missing out on.

My 5 yo likes listening to podcasts before bed, so far she has enjoyed: -lingokids -gardenkeeper Gus -deep blue sea -Molly of Denali

Does anyone have any suggestions for other audio stories or podcasts she might enjoy? Nothing scary as she listens at bedtime!
