This group has experienced rampant child on child sexual abuse with more than 8 reported cases since 2016 which involved significant grooming/multiple offenses and one case where a 15 year old repeatedly abused a 5 year old. Group leaders (elders) are irresponsible and disgusting in their approach by protecting families of abusers over those who were abused. Stay far away from this place if you want to protect any children in your care.

The leaders should be investigated for allowing this to continue and hiding it from guests! I’m a guest and will NEVER return after learning about this!!!! They meet at Ankeny Christian Academy in Ankeny, IA. Stay safe!!!

Are there any cults in the Ankeny area specifically that people need to know about and steer clear of?

Almost everyone I talk to acts like Ankeny is the best little place on earth. Like a little slice of heaven right in our metro. Everyone talks about how great the schools are, how nice the houses are, how clean it is, how much there is to do, and how it’s wonderfully located.

Ankeny is just as mediocre as any other suburb in this podunk metro

Edit: I’m not from the metro originally, and practically everyone from the more rural areas and southern end of the metro just live ankeny and tell me how nice it is. And ofc ankeny residents themselves

So Kimberly Reicks got arrested (again? I don't think this is the first time). She was booked for destroying someone else's mattress and clothing. With her kid there. Then apparently bragged about it at the time and made a TikTok video about it later.

Ankeny, Iowa. Our future. This is who our state government publicly allies with. Totally balanced and normal people like her.

My family had a big family dinner Saturday night at the Ankeny location. My father in law and I had the same thing (The Jethro) and we both woke up Monday morning feeling horrible. I’ll save the messy details but it got bad. So maybe just stick with wings next time.

After much consideration, I am excited to announce that I am running for reelection to the Ankeny City Council.

Serving on the Ankeny City Council these past 4 years has been the honor of a lifetime.

We have accomplished so much over these past few years, keeping up with the city's infrastructure needs while still keeping taxes low.

I am especially proud of the new Ankeny Senior and Community Center and the new High Trestle Trail bridge over Oralabor.

There is still much left to do, though, as Ankeny continues to be one of the fastest growing cities in Iowa.

In fact, as of a 2021 estimate from the U.S. Census Bureau, Ankeny is the 6th largest city in the state of Iowa. At the current pace, we could overtake Iowa City by 2030, becoming the 5th largest city in Iowa.

With new growth comes new challenges and new possibilities.

I have the experience to meet these new challenges and the vision to explore these new possibilities, which is why I am asking for your vote on November 7th.

Driving down Hickman and noticed two different Ankeny Police SUVs on Hickman Road between Waukee and Adel, setting up speed traps and pulling folks over.

I was always under the impression that city police didn't have jurisdiction in other cities...but why would Ankeny Police be so far away setting up speed traps?
