I am simply in awe of some creators I have seen on YouTube like bricksie or brickcrafts. They make insanely large lego MOC like cities, airports, trains, castles. I can just keep watching those timelapse videos for hours. Massive respect for these creators.

The question is how do these creators handle the finances of these MOC? Are they in any way supported by lego? Or are they just rich with a lot of disposable income? Just looking at the number of baseplates would blow away my lego budget for a decade.
