false

So for those in the know, there is a scene in Nope that involves Jean Jacket (the alien originally thought to be a UFO) abducting Jupe and everyone around him. The scene then cuts to the audience getting abducted and eventually digested

I kid you not, this scene has stuck with me for so long. Far longer then any other movie scene I’ve watched, at least recently It’s gotten so bad that I will stay up at night thinking about the audio and visuals of that scene, I’ve stayed up for around an hour longer then I usually will, so I guess Peele did his job as I now have this scene keeping me up for hours on exam days

Anyway the next horror film I’m gonna watch is Gerald’s Game which I’m sure will have no other effects that will traumatise me or keep me up at night

I think that if Coach Ben survives, it NEEDS to be played by the same actor.

I think that if Coach Ben survives, it NEEDS to be played by the same actor.

Coach Ben surviving has been quite the hot topic lately, leading many to question whether they’d hire an older actor to play him in the modern timeline if he did survive. However, I haven’t seen many raise the point I’m making in this post, that I think is also interesting to think about.

Even though the casting department did a WONDERFUL job casting the adult YJs in terms of appearance and overall likeness, there is ultimately a degree of separation between the wilderness timeline and the adults timeline, because they’re played by different actors. We know that the adult YJs are just the original ones grown up, of course, but it’s easy to feel somewhat removed from what they did in the wilderness since those were entirely different actors playing them.

I FULLY believe that having Coach Ben not only survive, but be played by the same actor in both timelines (granted, with a bit of old age makeup) would be BRILLIANT. I feel like seeing someone from the wilderness timeline being present in the adult timeline too, as in the EXACT same actor, would really be epic.

I’m not sure how to put it into words. Maybe just the idea that since the adult versions look slightly different, there’s that degree of separation, but once the same old Ben we all know is there, you really realize that these ARE just the high school girls from the wilderness, but grown up. It would be very profound.

Any recommendations for great horror shows like the Terror, All of Mike Flanagan Shows, The Leftovers, Hannibal, and Them. Would appreciate anything that touched you or made you frightened.

What books have made you sick to your stomach.

I asked what books have genuinely scared you or given you nightmares and there was a great discussion on some great books.

NOW I’m asking what made you nauseous or sick to your stomach. Body Horror! Certain books have made me feel like I was being watched or given me existential dread but The Troop had a scene that made me nauseous and Haunted by Chuck Palahniuk made me have to stop reading at a certain part. What books have gotten you?

Which video games had the scariest noises in your opinion?

There are a handful of games I played during my high school and college years which I still remember to this day because of how scary the ambient noises were throughout the whole games.

Ones I recall:

Silent Hill 3

Forbidden Siren

Exmortis

Gyossait

What games really scared you with their sound effects?

Help me name my new car

So I just bought a red 2001 VW bug recently and I love horror movies so I want to name it after a character from a horror movie but I can’t think of one, any help is appreciated.
