Hello Londoners and London lovers, happy Sunday!
Last night I took an Uber ride form West Acton to Cricklewood, as per title, and my driver picked a route that I have never been on before, via an incredibly beautiful, haunting road I can't stop thinking about.
...And TL;DR - The place was Madeley Road W5!!! Thanks everyone! 🥳
Post before I found the place:
I assume it was somewhere around Hamilton Road (I was clever enough to check signs at some point!), with a gorgeous line-up of huge Victorian houses, poorly lit hallways in between the buildings, small front gardens, and a generally different architecture compared to the surrounding areas.
I believe it could be in Harlesden, closer to the West than to Willesden Junction, and unfortunately Google Maps' journey suggestions don't match with my hands-on experience.
I have a screenshot of the Uber journey, but since the map is just a picture I as not able to zoom in and replicate it once I got home.
Help me find that road again please! Thanks in advance!
Edit: My Google Maps Timeline was off and Uber does not let you zoom in on the map, so I have no offline way of gaining more insight unfortunately!

This is their website:
I had the misfortune of coming across this agency and booking a property from them. They have properties all over Willesden Green and Kilburn. Their contract's so sketchy and it's full of ridiculous clauses designed to charge you more money than you should pay and if you sign be assured that you will be unprotected from the laws that protect tenants in England.
Thankfully the tenancy is now over and I can move on, hopefully, anyone reading this will avoid renting a property from them. Beware they just care about the money, nothing else.
Basically, the people's opinion in Trustpilot summarizes it all:
