As a Second Brain, (Seriously)...

In 2022 I had brain issues that caused me to lose a lot mental acuity.

In January of 2023 I was offered a job from a friend who knew me before I had the mental dropout. The position required significant technical skills that I once had mastered, but that mastery had since faded. I took the position and by late February I was drowning.

I had used Obsidian long before the fade and in March of 2023 I turned to Obsidian again, this time as a crutch to help me recall a myriad of details that I had to keep up with for my job. In short, I took copious daily notes and linked notes that I considered important or things that I would need to recall later and added manuals related to the position.

It worked. By August I was promoted to project lead on the new tech initiative we're (still) implementing across our company.

Now, 15 months into using Obsidian daily, I have +1200 Obsidian notes and thousands of indexed PDF pages from operations manuals.

The problem I have now is being able to quickly & efficiently find the info I need when I need it.

I'm using Obsidian Sync and a handful of plugins, but could really use some insight into how best make use of all this information.

EDIT: Thank you all for responding!
