Horror comedy isn’t one of my favorite genres. But I was super surprised when I watched Abigail last night. It has a pretty interesting plot, really good and small cast (everyone did an amazing job), bloody and entertaining scenes and had a lot of moments where I laughed out loud. Some scenes did drag along, but it didn’t ruin anything for me.
If you liked Ready Or Not, I would highly recommend this movie. I am disappointed I never got to see this in theaters but watching it back home was a blast. If you’re looking for a fun horror movie on a Friday night, this is the perfect pick. Might have to do a Ready Or Not and Abigail double feature! Have you seen Abigail? What are your thoughts? Anyone else on here agree? I had a hard time taking Kim K seriously. This season had potential but I feel like it would have been better with some of the veteran actors. Leslie is just so funny and would have added more comic relief. It's like that role was written for her!

I actually didn’t find Valentinas trap THAT gory. I’d really worked myself up from what everyone had said but was surprised as there wasn’t really any flesh coming off the leg etc just clean cut and a lot of screaming. Mateos one actually made me cringe a little bit more! Great film though, would love to see more of Cecilia - actually really liked her character.
