"Wednesday" is a coming of age story following the titular character Wednesday Addams as she attempts to solve a series of murders. Using characters from Charles Addams' "The Addams Family" and directed by Tim Burton, the show promises a dark aesthetic, deadpan humor, and kooky characters.

A few months ago I made to put a statue of Luis Guzman on the Vermont statehouse lawn, inspired by the statue in Community (obviously). It got some traction, but today it got the biggest endorsement it could get: from Luis Guzman himself.
About 20 minutes ago my sister called to me say that she saw Luis Guzman in TJ Maxx. I freaked out and told her to show him my petition. I didn't think she would, but she did. His exact words were "I would sign that". He asked a bit about me, and wished us a happy new year. Overall a really nice guy.
When my sister was checking out, they were apparently at registers next to each other, and before he left he turned to my sister and said "I'll be looking for that statue."
I wish I had gotten a screenshot of me on Facetime with him, but I was so excited that I didn't think about it. Either way, the statue is Luis Guzman approved.

I want to see more of this guy. It looks like he does a ton of cameos and small roles, but what movies really highlights his top performances?

He was at Greendale before Boogie Nights (1997), although he had already been acting for a long time with limited success. Let's say he graduated in 1996 and was at Greendale for a 4 year degree, which means he spent 6 to 8 years there.
Can you come up with any fun ideas about his time at Greendale? (He loved his time there and got laid like crazy).
Did he apply by fax?
What classes did he take?
Who was he friends with? (Leonard, Pierce, Koogler and Starburns could have been there already).
What adventures did they get up to?
Did he know about the air-conditioning repair school annex? Did he try to find the missing computer labs? Did he play a part in getting the secret trampoline banned? Did he see BNL or Dave live?

Ok, I know they couldn't get the cast of the 1990's movies, but first choice for Gomez Addams was Luis Guzmán? Articles I found say he didn't know anything about the series and it was a surprise to gim when the part was offered. Granted, Catherine Zeta-Jones isn't that young anymore, but couldn't they find anyone a little more like the original? I think Javier Bardem would have been a far better choice, between age to Zeta-Jones and the original look of the TV show and 1990's movies. And Luis Guzmán, IMO, has a distinguished look of aged shoe leather.

Luis Guzman statue appeared early in the first season, but Guzman himself doesn't make an appearance till the third season, so did they have agreement with Guzman to appear in the show but delayed a lot or it's just later that they realized that bringing in Guzman in the show was actually an option?
I love delayed gratification but I wonder what's the deal here.

Personally, I think Luis Guzmán did a good job playing as Gomez.
I have heard a couple of people online saying that he wasn't the right pick (Some of those arguments realiting to his looks) but I disagree. No one can ever replace the amazing performance of the late Raul Julia as Gomez, but Luis in my opinion really did a great job portraying the comedy and romantic sides of Gomez in his own style and I can't wait to see what more he will do with Gomez in the future.

Luis Guzman’s facial expressions are the best. I watch the show on repeat in the background to fall asleep and I still laugh when his two episodes are on. If you go back and just watch his face in all the scenes he’s in it just gets better and better.

In the most recent episode (651) the brothers answer an audience question from someone going by the name “Tyler” who bought Luis Guzmán’s house in Vermont, only to discover that he had left a mysterious box tucked away in the dark recesses of their attic. Now, the audience member claims their parents have borne witness to the box’s contents, and that they subsequently reported it contained miscellaneous clothing. However, I believe if the boys only had followed this lead a little further, I believe they would have discovered the truth of what lay therein…
Four and a half years ago, in episode 422, the brothers received a question from one “Starstruck in the Woods”, a cashier at an unspecified rural grocer, who claimed that they facilitated Mr. Guzmán’s transaction — that being the purchase of “some Black Forest ham”. Friends and colleagues, I put it to you that it is in fact that very same ham which actually resides in the box in Tyler’s attic! Based on the rural location of the grocery store in question, and the “woods” hinted at in Starstruck’s moniker, I think it highly likely that the home they referenced all those years ago is the house that Tyler and sundry later bought from Mr. Guzmán. The unfathomable, eldritch stench produced by Mr. Guzmán’s deserted deli meat after nearly five years would certainly provide every reason to lock it away deep, deep in the attic — never again to see the light of day. I posit that upon viewing (and smelling) the unknowable reality of that tatterdemalion thigh, Tyler’s forebears either hid Mr. Guzmán’s terrible secret — so as not to spread the pork’s perturbing plague further — or else their minds, acting to preserve their own sanity, simply overwrote their knowledge and memory of their exposure with the peaceful (yet indeterminate) image of abandoned adornments.
Should some ham-based apocalypse ever befall rural Vermont, let the McElroys know that their incurious and dismissive attitude toward Tyler and his porcine portent could have prevented it!
