A meshtastic app update recently appeared, so I dutifully updated it.
As we know, app updates are usually associated with changes in firmware, so I went to to check for new firmware. Some confusing nomenclature here:
Latest in the "stable" section of T-Echo firmwares is called "2.3.7.30fbcab revoked". What does revoked mean? Is it a rollback of broken changes? Should I bother installing it?

I've been switching between LongFast, LongSlow and VeryLongSlow to test my nodes' range, and I think I'm finding that despite the other presets' better obstacle penetration on paper (and probably with better, directional antennas), LongFast still comes out ahead thanks to many users' choice to stick with it as the installed default.
When you change to a preset like LongSlow, your nodes lose the ability to communicate with nodes on LongFast and the other presets. Because of how many other nodes in my city are using LongFast, you essentially lose access to the mesh when you switch, and you're dependent entirely on your nodes' range with LongSlow or VeryLongSlow.
