Danny O'Dwyer
The Fallout Network's Subreddit for the Bethesda game series Fallout . From the first games that paved the way to the most recent, we are a subreddit for Fallout fans from all walks of life.
"You can shoot off ghouls limbs and watch them crawl with no legs, or run with no arms."
"Perks are tied to how much you dump into SPECIAL. There are 70 perks in total, tied to SPECIAL ranks. Plus they rank up. So 275 in total"
"Lockpick & hacking mini games are the same but the interface is far more streamlined. Quickchange weapon & items. The dog can loot for you."
"Basically, it's familiar with much better shooting."
I really enjoyed Danny O'Dwyer's contributions to the podcast these past few weeks. He rounds out some of the crew's knowledge as someone with some awareness of Euro/International developments and a guy who's spent a lot of time interviewing developers directly about making games. One of my favorite activities on the podcast is "Bomber guesses his knowledge on unknown topic" like football, soccer, or whatever else. Danny's great for that stuff too.
Not certain what the hiring situation is with two people down and a new company, but if they can't convince Danny to be a regular just as is — they should totally pay him to appear each week until they get another chair for the spot.
Alternatively: Thanks for appearing on the podcast Danny! Keep up the good work.
EDIT: Just to clarify, I am not suggesting they hire Danny — because I know NoClip is his main gig. Thinking purely as a temporary sub.

[For context, Danny talked about it recently on the Minnmax podcast.] ()
It was a challenge they attempted when Danny visited Dan's family in Kansas for Thanksgiving. The challenge was to drink a bottle of Sprite, eat two bananas, and try not to throw up.
According to Danny, when Dan was applying for the job at WWE, he attempted to scrub the video from the internet in order to not be seen as too unprofessional. and I can't find a reupload anywhere.
but hit a dead end there. Did anyone here save it or know where I can find it?
Just because those two are on opposite ends.
For some reason, that i do not know Jeff sorta dislikes amiga, you get with him like "this could have been on amiga" when playing shit games, and random comments, you have to have been paying attention to catch them, if game was made also on amiga, jeff will make a negative comment basically.
And Danny O'Dwyer absolutely loves Amiga
and before you get too exited, i dont think Jeff "hates" amiga, just is strongly opinionated, and grew up with nintendo, where Danny grew up with amiga.
Danny should also make his own "old games" thing with just amiga games that giantbomb basically has never touched, or played ever, to show some uk, european gaming culture.

He's become quite a divisive figure.
I set up a very simplistic poll to try and see how people would feel if he returned to KF, even if it's just for a single appearance :

With today being Danny's last day at Kinda Funny, I wanted to take a second to say thank you to The Irish Cream(er). Danny has always been a pleasure to listen to, and I appreciate the depth of knowledge that he brings to KFGD. His episodes of GOG were always fun to listen to, and he seems like an overall great dude. I recently subscribed to his Patreon and I'm looking forward to The Witcher documentary, as well as any future topics he wants to research.
I'm not sure if Danny even uses Reddit, but hopefully Greg or Tim can show him this topic and let him know that we'll miss him.
NoClip just released the newest podcast, right now it is available only for patreon patrons, but it should be up for the public in a few days. I've been waiting for this kind of stuff.

He just announced I heard about it during his Quake 3 livestream and nobody had posted anything to this sub so far. In three weeks he's going back to Ireland "for a fortnight" to get married.
They grow up so fast :') Congratulations, duder!
