Trying to find forgotten podcast
Trying to find forgotten podcast
Tip of My Tongue

About 4 years ago I listed to a short series podcast (maybe 5 episodes) about music artists and music in general being lost forever over time due to it never being re-recorder past vinyl. They discussed the original stereotypical "Egyptian" or Middle East tune And played some artists that are known to only have 1 recording left on earth.

I think the logo for the podcast might have been a microphone or phonograph or something. Until it was released I frequently heard ads for it when listening to the podcast "science vs".

Any help in relocating this would be great! Thank you!

I'm not sure I have a good organizational method for the podcasts I listen to. I used Castro for a while and liked their triage system of queue and inbox, but there were other things about the app I didn't really care for so I switched to Overcast.

For a long time I had an A playlist and a B playlist on Overcast. The A list were my favorite podcasts, and the B list shows were the ones I listened to when I had time. This is a similar system to Castro, I guess.

However, I am curious as to how the rest of you like to organize your podcasts. Bonus points if you have a system that would work in Overcast ;)
