Like I never understood why they weren’t Friends and I can’t remember them having a Huge/Major Conflict between each other

Like rewatching everything kinda makes me wonder did something happen behind the scenes

Okay so this is my first watch as an adult lol I used to loosely watch with my aunt as a younger teen.

I’m on s10 reunion. What I can’t understand is why everyone is so upset with porsha for even repeating the rumor? Now, if a trusted friend told me that someone was saying all that mess I’d absolutely confront that person,common sense right? Why is everyone (on the show) acting like it’s so egregious?

I understand why Phaedra is outcasted rightfully so, but wasn’t porsha also a victim of phaedras lies? Also with everything that we know of TI and Tiny, and how close kandi is to them, why is it crazy to think it would be true

I cackle about this scene at least once a day.

Aunt Bertha is so damn proud of herself for her “theory” and Kandi is just like “Wut? 😐”

And then later in a different scene Don Juan and Carmon say it in unison just to clown Kandi and Todd and they are absolutely losing their shit cracking up while Kandi and Todd are like 😐😐😐

I am watching s6 and s7 where Nene and Cynthia’s relationship went downhill. I understand what the causes were for their relationship turning sour. I DON’T understand why Nene had a difficult time accepting the damage and the ending of the relationship. I wonder what qualities Cynthia has that made Nene attached to her. It was a rare moment seeing Nene show emotions AND trying to rectify a relationship. Thoughts??💭

I’m just wondering, did anyone else notice that nenes house looks empty when they are showing the kitchen?? There’s nothing on the counters and not really any furniture. Maybe it was a rental house for the show?? Anyone have answers lol

I'm sorry but... why aren't there enough posts about this? I'm a huge Housewives fan, still need to watch a couple more franchises. Right now, I'm at RHOA. The more episodes go on, the more I just cannot stand anything about Phaedra Parks. She is a complete fraud, a liar, obnoxious, condescending and controversial.

I don't think she's a girl's girl, she fakes perfectionism, her "class" and "education" front is just offensive, and any time someone tries to out her on something, she distracts and completely changed the subject. It's scary how good at it she is. For example, everytime Apollo would try to talk about their issues, she just brushes it off. I'm sure he was cheating on her and she would put up a front on camera, like when he Facetimed her and her son "Mr. President", he seemed to be at someone's house and not at work (season 6). the whole Kenya scandal, she made it seem like her and Apollo barely had issues over it.

The parties and photoshoots with her kids kill me the most. It's giving 1900s delusion. It's painful to watch. This girl's head is inflated.

Also, Apollo's job definitely was illegitimate and it was obvious from the get-go. She acted so blinded by it and put on such a damn act, then when he got caught she's all shocked. I actually felt sorry for him. She also decides to marry an ex-convict and took him in order to use him as a puppet and get full control... it gives me twisted vibes. Like, I feel like she took an ex-convict, promised him a good life as long as she can control the narrative and have someone at her mercy. That back-fired, and her twisted self acted calm and collected till he got sent to jail. She was probably laughing inside and put an entire act, and saw it coming. Probably revenge after the whole Kenya scandal.

The career part is the most irritating. If she was actually a good and successful attorney, she wouldn't keep scrambling to find new "hobbies/careers", like the Donkey Booty video, and the mortician job (SO SO SO CREEPY how she talks about dead people "not talking back"). She thinks she's better than everyone because she is "educated". She's not a southern belle and her education doesn't make her above anyone. It looks like a joke.

Lastly, her voice and tone. OH. MY. GOSH. It's so creepy, sarcastic, always like she's asking a rhetorical question at the end. It just sounds so sadistic. Her laugh when she sticks her tongue out... I literally cringe. Southern Belle? No.

Truly, this woman scares me. More than Kathy Hilton ever could.

Watching S8 Ep1 and Peter seems so jealous of Cynthia. That man couldn't run a successful business if it was handed to him with funds for 100 years.

The way he made a joke about being with the girl from the video talking to Kenya. I'm not a fan of Kenya but she didn't play about Cynthia and I'm glad she spoke up for her friend.

She had things going for her, the sunglasses, modeling school, she was still modeling, etc. And to say her entrance was "an entrance for your ass"

He couldn't keep any businesses open. I think he was jealous. Glad she left him.

I am on season 11 of #RHOA and to me Nene was extremely cold towards Greg. Shocked is what I am when I see how she responds to Greg and his struggles. I am praying that no one will treat me like how she did Greg. This is serious how she did Greg (wondering if it's his Karma for how he did his first wife). Rest in peace Greg.

I’m on season 8, the episode where they went to Miami and brought all those strangers home.

That dude, Tammy’s ‘nephew’ was crazy as fuck. He was rude, disrespectful, and extremely aggressive right from the jump. This man got to the house and started bucking up to Kandi, WHO WAS PREGNANT, and minding her business. No man should EVER behave aggressively towards ANY WOMAN, not to talk of a PREGNANT woman. This man also kept referring to these women as ‘bitches’. So, in my opinion, Kenya was not wrong for sounding the alarm. Kenya felt uncomfortable and she actually did something about it. Some will say she should’ve handled it differently, but I don’t see a world where that lunatic would’ve left peacefully. He came LOADED with trouble. I mean, he started disrespecting Kandi and she didn’t say ANYTHING to him.

Kenya just asked him to leave without yelling, calling him outta his name, and he still rushed her like he was gonna fight her. So I don’t understand how any of the women can defend that piece of trash. Their hatred for Kenya runs so deep that they forgot their values. All of a sudden, a man acting aggressive towards a woman is ok………because it’s Kenya 🙄 A man rushing a woman is NEVER OKAY. It doesn’t matter what she said, or how she “should’ve” said it. THAT NIGGA WAS CRAZY….PERIOD!! Phaedra was REACHING FOR THE STARS comparing that situation to POLICE BRUTALITY 🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢 How dare she??? Those black boys were ACTUAL VICTIMS. I was thoroughly disgusted to say the least. They just hate Kenya 🤷🏾‍♀️

I am watching Atlanta for the first time. Nene I loved S1-3. S4 I began to dislike her when I think fame started getting to her head. S5 she was back to herself and I enjoyed her.

Season 6 I’ve found her utterly unbearable to watch and in the reunion she is at her absolute worst. She takes zero accountability, gets defensive to absolutely any criticism. The way she spoke to Andy when he questioned her undertones of homophobia towards Brandon.

And I’ve heard from people she’s even worse in season 7. I kinda can’t wait for a break from her.

I'm at S7E18, where Nene organizes the therapy session. I used to be a huge Nene fan, but then she got Celeb Apprentice and got too good for everyone. This takes the cake, though. I thought it was ridiculous that she couldn't accept that anyone has an issue with her. And to threaten the therapist! Sheesh. That poor man.

The amount of (newer) viewers who claim they’re Housewives superfans, but have only watched Beverly Hills and maybe New Jersey or SLC — yet completely disregard Atlanta as if it’s some flop iteration like Dubai or Dallas should be charged with blasphemy.

I don’t think I have ever belly laughed more often at a reality show than this one, and I mean that as the utmost compliment. I know the popular opinion here is that seasons 5 through 9 were the “peak” because of the insanely high ratings, and while those were definitely iconic seasons, particularly 5 & 6 — Seasons 2, 3, and 4 set this franchise up to become the ratings juggernaut it once was, and they need to be studied by every future reality television executive.

The authenticity and absurdity of Nene Leakes & Kim Zolciak in particular made it impossible for me to not binge-watch. Their bipolar-ass friendship and equally over-the-top personalities made them one of the greatest reality tv duos of all time. I would’ve much preferred Kim & Nene to have their own spinoff show together as opposed to “Don’t Be Tardy”, but I suppose the eventual permanent dissolution of their friendship by that point made it impossible.

Regardless, there are so many moments in this particular franchise that live rent free in my head. Whether it be Porsha and her Underground Railroad commentary, Nene and Sheree’s petty years-long feud, She By Sheree — the fashion line with no clothes, Nene calling in live on WWHL to scream at Kim “CLOSE YOUR LEGS TO MARRIED MEN!!”, Kim assuming DALLAS AUSTIN (one of the most prolific super-producers in the entire music industry) was going to just magically make her a country singer despite having no talent, or Kandi actually doing that charity work and it oddly working out to the point the two of them went on tour together and were miserably stuck on that infamous tour bus — I’m sure I’m missing so many more, but this show and its original genius simply can not be replicated.

It does not shock me in the slightest that this is the most popular show on Bravo — ever. What does shock me is how it doesn’t get the flowers it inarguably deserves from the new generation of fans.

Seasons 1-9 of RHOA are peak Real Housewives, and the fact the quality of this show remained the same for 10 years straight is a testament to its quality and cast. It definitely fell off in recent years, but honestly, most of the OG Housewives cities have because the general franchise is too famous now and it’s treated as an acting/business opportunity as opposed to a genuine reality show.

I won’t go as far as to label the fans who pay RHOA dust as racist, but what I will say is they have very bland, shitty taste — especially if their favorite is Beverly Hills. 💀

The only iteration I think is somewhat comparable to the glory days of Atlanta is the first three seasons of RHONY.

This is my first time watching, and im wondering why Kenya thinks she needs an apology from Phaedra? If I’m not mistaken, Kenya took the idea from Phaedra????? Shes delulu 🤔

rewatching season 8.. I'm on episode 5 and is it just me or was the guy taking down porsha hella aggressive tho? I was thinking she was mainly crying over that at first cause he did too much imo

Doing a rewatch of the entire show from the beginning, currently on season 8. Honest question, how does she keep getting away with no consequences for getting physical with cast mates? She literally has to be held down, numerous times like wtf. This post is in no way excusing any of the other women’s behavior, but I’m just baffled why she’s never been held accountable or faced actual legal actions/public backlash?

Edit: I would like to state that the reason for this post is that at the end of the day, especially when it comes to being a grown adult which porsha is, violence is never the answer and should not be swept under the rug. That’s why I was so shocked she was let off the hook. Time for me to watch family matters now lol

For me I’m most excited to watch Porsha

I genuinely cannot stand Porsha. She’s pushing 40 and still acts like a teenager like Kenya said. Three physical altercations PLUS her accusing Kandi in season 9 and Bravo still kept her on the show. Hearing her spread all those lies about Kandi with zero proof made me so mad cause girl how dumb can you be. AND she still can’t spell scepter.

I don’t care much for Don Juan, but I loved and respected everything he said about Kandi’s relationship w/ Phaedra. Everything he said….I was thinking. That is a REAL friend. And I respect him for that.

Phaedra, for almost 2 seasons, has gaslit Kandi into thinking she’s not a good friend. Kandi has been STRESSED trying to figure out what she could have possibly done to Phaedra for her to treat her how she has. It’s honestly hard to watch. I feel so bad for Kandi because she doesn’t realize she’s being MANIPULATED BIG TIME by Phaedra.

I hate this stupid act Phaedra is putting on regarding Apollo going to jail……as if he wasn’t a fresh out of jail FELON when she married him. Wtf did she think was gonna happen by marrying and HAVING KIDS with a criminal? How is that Kandi or anyone else’s problem?? Girl….you play stupid games, you win stupid prizes. That’s just how it works.

And then all this bullshit talk about Kandi not being a supportive friend when last time I checked….Kandi was also going thru some things around the same time Phaedra was. Did Phaedra support her when her play got cancelled and Kandi was devastated by it? Or did she call Kandi when her mother in law died? She didn’t. She didn’t CARE what Kandi was going thru at all…. Her problems were bigger than Kandi’s problems according to her.

And then Phaedra tried to hold what Kandi said about her taking the kids to prison against her. That’s not fair. Kandi gave an opinion just like anyone else and you are DEAD WRONG for not wanting to take those boys to go see their father. Who does that? That man is going away for EIGHT YEARS and Phaedra expects the kids to just move on without their father. Good or bad….HE IS STILL THEIR FATHER. And you the one that laid down with him….so why would you make the kids suffer because of that??

Phaedra is such a slimy, manipulative, and overall horrible human. And an even more HORRIBLE friend to Kandi. I am so disgusted by her phony and fake ass ways. The nickname “phony phae phae” is so befitting for her!!!!! That lady doesn’t have a truthful or genuine bone in her body and I would rather be friendless than to have this kind of person in my circle!!!
