Generation X was born, by broadest definition, between 1961 and 1981, the greatest anti-child cycle in modern history. Nevertheless, we grew up to become the world's most devoted parents: the "workhorse of America." This sub welcomes links, photos, graphics, memoirs, commentaries, stories, etc., for and about Gen-Xers, the 13th Generation of Americans. GenX also translates to many other parts of the world.

A place to satirize, crosspost from, poke fun at, and hold meta discussions on the never-ending ridiculous stories and creative writing exercises from AITA and AITA-adjacent subs, including classic tales of your local reddit heroes seeking validation. Memes allowed, shitposts only on weekends. Taking the posts seriously is heavily discouraged.
This all happened two days ago, so I am a little frazzled, but I really need to know if I crossed a line. My phone is blowing up like a balloon.
I (M28) was about to get married to the girl of my dreams, Tagina (F29). She is beautiful, intelligent, kind, and has banging calcium cannons.
But the week before our wedding, I noticed she was being a bit shifty. She was hiding her phone screen from me, and would often leave our bedroom with my brother (M24) and his girlfriend (F24) in tow, all sweaty and visibly covered in ejaculate. They said it was from yoga, and I left it alone.
But the night before the wedding, I overheard my Tagina, my brother, T’Yrone, and his girlfriend Ellen having a confrontation. They were discussing all the stuff they did to each other sexually, including ”putting my big ol’ schnozz all up in that stanky turd cutter of yours” and ”missionary”
Needless to say, I was upset, and didn’t know if I could carry on with the wedding. But I also was really excited about the catering company we chose so I thought fuck it, I can annul it later. But as I saw Tagina walking down the aisle with her father, I couldn’t do it.
I couldn’t fake this happiness. I took the microphone from the DJ and said, *”my so-called fiancée is having her vagina penetrated by the penis of my own brother, and his girlfriend is also in the fold! My fiancée has also stuck her nose in my brother’s butthole, I think, if I overheard them right.”
The room was silent. My mother spoke first, telling me it is rude to eavesdrop. Then, Tagina’s parents told me they had also been fucking her. So had their family dog. Stevie Wonder, who I had hired to play the piano for our first dance, said that he ”rubbed her nipples like braille” and the ghost of character actor Abe Vigoda (1921-2016) rose from his gravestone nearby and said he jerked off in the corner, and would have joined in physically if ghosts could touch human beings. But he said he did splooge a bit.
Now everybody thinks I’m an asshole for disrupting the wedding and for telling the catering couple to go home. My parents think I should marry Tangina anyways because ”this stuff happens.” AITA?
For pre-1980 or so TV shows -- but not the usual Lucy or *Gunsmoke* reruns. This subreddit is for the ephemeral TV programs of the pre-VCR era -- the stuff no one ever expected to see again: newscasts, local kiddie shows and horror movie hosts, live TV dramas, game shows, soap operas, teen dance parties... Oh, and kinescopes. Lots and LOTS of kinescopes.
