He somehow knew that the chip the Trailblazer got was something Aventurine used to track their movements and contact them, and just had the state of mind to keep calm amidst the chaos to still have the IPC on his side so that the Family could be kept in check.
He goaded the Dreammaster and Sunday to overextend during their confrontation, essentially making them confess their sins, resulting in him recording the crucial data in the IPC transmitter that he got from the Trailblazer.
He knew that he wouldn't be hurt or killed for it because Robin was there, and angering the Astral Express wouldn't be a wise move. (And also it's still just a dream world)
He gave the IPC chip to Aventurine, (presumably in exchange for something) and had the IPC handle the Dreammaster using this evidence, and subsequently the Family's corruption. Although this might result in an IPC takeover, he might either bartered for that to not happen or has another plan up his sleeve.

The patch is being praised by a lot of people, but I think we should make a few things mentioned for feedback on it.
People are consistently talking in riddles and it's really exhausting to try to follow what they are trying to say and the pace of the story. Even if this is a thing in Chinese dramas, it doesn't translate well to other languages
Sunday constantly repeating the same stuff over and over and over without a clear reason why we need to be reminded for the 4th time
Sparkle had no conclusive point of what she was doing the entire story? Even as a red herring it's a bit unsatisfying
Aventurine escaping the other side was a single sentence by Argenti when it was the main focal point of the previous chapter
Firefly's entire story line and leaving us was just not satisfying writing
There's too many characters interjecting about random bits and pieces
Trailblazer's dialogue options just sucked, it was 99% meme options which took us out of immersion constantly
Robin barely said anything while being a main focus point alongside Sunday, and the banner character
Acheron's name reveal doesn't mean anything to most players. I respect it, but it was supposed to be a massive moment at the end but it has no in-story meaning to anyone since it's never hinted her name means anything
Acheron being an overpowered easy win button every patch is just getting tiring. She wasn't even a character at this point, just a plot device
Boothill another banner character was great, but barely had any character development or plot relevance

It’s getting a little absurd. Like I’m fairly certain in other languages most the dialogues boil down to;
A heroic/positive response A thoughtful/neutral/contemplative response A negative/joking/sarcastic response
It feels like the Eng team just consults ChatGPT and looks for all the hottest memes in the last few months to insert into every response. It just kills my immersion in scenes that are meant to be serious or emotional.
