Not quite the round of boos the Harry critics were hoping Harry would receive from the crowd. Angela Levin must be seething.

Quiet on Set interview cut scenes

Currently on episode 2 of the documentary. Was watching from a German source when suddenly the English subtitles weren't lining up and when I switched to an English source of the documentary, I came to find out an interview was cut.

When Brandi's mom is talking about Jason messaging Brandi, before she talks about him emailing the picture to her, she talks about how he would message her on AIM. One day he told her that they should meet up, so she should tell her mom to drop her off at the local mall and he would meet her there. And that she shouldn't tell her mom she's meeting him there. Brandi's mom says she didn't do anything about that except say of course she's not going to the mall. Then it follows with the part about the email with the picture (which isn't cut).

I wonder why they decided to cut the AIM part for American audiences. I'd imagine because it puts a negative light on Brandi's mom for not going to authorities at that point.

Anyway - wondering if anyone knows of other cut bits

Anyone know which PR firm the Durst Organization uses? They deserve some serious recognition.

The notoriety, or lack thereof, of Bob and the Durst family prior to the film and The Jinx shows just how far money goes. Looking at another post and seeing how unfamiliar people were during the disappearances and murders is crazy. Sure it got some media attention but it had a very short shelf life compared to other stories in the U.S.

Billionaire serial killer is 🪓 up people and if you know about it he will 🪓 you too. Pretty sensational for the run it got.

Car Talk on NPR

Recently started listening to best of Car Talk a show that used to air on weekends on your local NPR station (national public radio for you guys on the other side of the pond). I wondered if any of the US or England folks ever tuned in? Also wonder if Any of the big three had ever mentioned the Click and Clack brothers. This is just a shout out to a show that I think many of you on this forum may find entertaining and relevant to Car life (I know this forum is just for Grand Tour talk) but I wondered how many of you may be fans of the old guys who have since passed on? Edit: apologies one brother is very much still alive.

Durst Family Retaliation Against Evan Kreeger

After watching episode 5, I was curious to know something and asked Sharon McCormack on July 2021, in the now (disbanded) The Jinx Facebook group, if there was any retaliation on the part of Evan Kreeger (Evan is the son of Wendy Durst Kreeger, Robert Durst's younger sister), as he was the only Durst to appear in season 1 and she told me the Durst family severely punished him for it.

Here's an article that detailed how they treated him poorly after appearing in the series.

Marc Smerling quote from the article:
[T]he most surprising thing was, for me, was the reaction of the Durst family. I was shocked by how we were closed out from them, how the one Durst family member who came forward to speak to us was punished for lack of a better word and how they just, to this day, don’t seem to want to discuss this sister-in-law, daughter-in-law who disappeared. It just seems to have been erased from their history.

TL:DR
The Durst family basically reduced Evan's monthly trust from $11,000 a month to virtually zero, then placing him in mental hospitals and forcing unwanted drugs on him to break him so that he behaves in a certain way so that he can't make any decisions on his own. Evan is currently 54 years old.
