How would one go about turning a 2.7-5v analog signal to 0-10v? I know I could use a HCNR201 analog optocoupler but don't know how I would increase the span down to 0.

I think I put my foot in it ... LCD touch screen issues

I think I put my foot in it ... LCD touch screen issues

I bought a RPi Zero 2 W and a 7" capacitive-touch LCD screen. It seems the screen is a Waveshare knock-off; I'm not sure. It also seems that a touch screen isn't just a mouse. (Why?!) All that said, the screen (as just a screen) works fine. However, I have no touch ... and no documentation.

I bought this. The Waveshare is this and this. My LCD has no branding or logos whatsoever! Since it seems a "touch screen" isn't "just a mouse," I suppose I need a driver. W/o any docs for the LCD, I don't know where to start. (And from what I've been able to find, all the RPi docs assume you have some "official" LCD.)

Here's a photo of the back of the LCD I bought.

I web searched a bunch on this and nearly everything I find is from 2015-ish; three sites recommend some GitHub repo with a custom driver ... but it's 9 years old!

Anyone have any suggestions?

Python script to upload node data into InfluxDB

I already had InfluxDB and Grafana running on a VM. Wanted to keep some statistics from my nodes there. This will require a spare node connected to a network that you can access and poll. Should be able to use a node connected to a USB, but will need to change the command string.

Uses Meshtastic's python package to get the data from the node. Cron job runs every 5 minutes.

I use Grafana to graph the statistics from InfluxDB.

Sharing in case anyone is interested.

Maybe there is an easier way to do this, but I had fun with the project.

The second launch of our Star Orbiter and our increasing entry to mid-power rockets. First flight was with an E16-6 to an altimeter confirmed 1021'...second flight we swapped the altimeter for the Astrocam (footage to follow!) Anyhow, a nice textbook flight in 80° temps and 7 mph winds.
