The Place To Post Images of Cybercucks Stuck In Their Cybertrucks. Also permitted is general discussion making fun of this ridiculous vehicle. NOTE: THIS IS NOT A SUB FOR POSTING GENERAL TESLA ISSUES. Seen a low polygon truck stuck in a situation that a real truck would cope with easily? Then this is the place to post it. Broken down ones are also permitted but top marks go to pictures of them stuck in an inch of mud or snow or sand or light gravel. You get the idea…

Tesla bumped us

TLDR: Tesla bumped our car, minimal damage, but driver drove off, but we got his reg. Leave it?

Hi guys, just looking for a bit advice on something that happened this morning. My gf and I have been travelling your beautiful country since 2023 and have settled in Wellington for a short time while we work.

This morning I was giving her a lift to work, and whilst stopped at traffic lights, a tesla bumped into the back of our car. It was a very low speed collision, nothing serious.

I drove on a bit since I didn't want to block the single lane we were in, an pulled over in small car park 100m further on, expecting the other driver to follow.

I got out of the car to inspect the damage, whilst the other car stopped at the entrance for a second then drive off.

The damage is minimal, a small scratch that you wouldn't notice unless you were looking for something and I would normally let it go.

BUT we're looking to sell our car soon as we're heading back to the UK, and the fact he drove off without talking to me about it has annoyed me a bit. Luckily my GF got his reg but I'm not really sure how to proceed. What dya reckon?

I'm leaning towards leave it be. Our car is only 2005 legacy anyway. Cheers x

EDIT: Thanks for all the advice, much appreciated! Looks like the consensus it to report, just to cover myself at the least. 👍

EV supercharging non tesla

After what Elon has done to Tesla’s supercharging team, I hope other legacy ev auto wakes up and realize they can’t take a shortcut to solve their ev charging issue by relying on tesla supercharger in USA. They need to develop their own.

I think the easiest way to do this is for EA, EVGo, etc to partner up with fastfood place like McDonald because:

  1. They have places all around, especially one closer to major highway.

  2. They have the parking lots to accomodate 4-6 chargers.

  3. They only need 50-150kw charger so people can wait inside n buy food while charging.

  4. Vandalism can be minimized since those fastfood place has camera already.

What do you think? Any other suggestion?
