wife lightheaded for 4 months now
Symptoms

in october 23 my wife (and shortly later me) caught covid. for her it came together with sudden hearing loss, that cleaned itself up after a few days and taking cortison.

but since then, she suffers from being lightheaded. she can't work, drive (even as passenger) or go on walks without becoming dizzy. Walking in the wood or shopping is worst (probably places with lots of visual input).

so far she went to get an 24h ECG, MRT and eye examination, but all came back clear. doctors start to gaslight it is a mental thing.

if she covers one eye, the problems clear up and she can walk in the woods or drive as a passenger without getting lightheaded.

we tried a brock string test, but this indicates her eyes are focussing OK on the beads on the string (we suspected something like BVD). Also the eye doctor could not find anything.

so now we are out of ideas, her doctor wants to send her to a psychosomatic teatment at a health resort, but she is not under stress and we both don't believe it to be a mental/stress/psychosomatic thing, especially since covering an eye helps.

anybody got any ideas or has similar experiences?
