The NBA playoffs should be best of one

Basketball is one of the most popular sports in the world but one of the big things hampering its growth is the best of 7 format in the playoffs. This format makes the playoffs drawn out over 3 months and you can easily lose interest in the whole thing halfway through. Even for the individual playoff series, by game 3, more often than not, you can kinda tell who's going to win the whole thing, and it's just a long, boring procession to the final game.

Best of 1 would make each individual match way more hype, and the playoffs would take 4 weeks at the most. Also if the playoff games would be strategically timed for a worldwide audience , the ratings would go through the roof and the NBA's final game would be bigger than the Superbowl for sure

Ran a game with a former G leaguer today. Guy was unstoppable out there. It got me thinking…

Taking winning out of the equation, if given the green light by coach, how much could the average NBA player average? My opinion is, 99% of NBA players can average at least 17-20 ppg if the offense was ran around them, even some not known for scoring. Modern defense rules are the main reason for this, but it’s also because every single NBA player is incredibly talented.

terrible night for me overall. didn't cash but didn't play much volume and no night or show down slates for me today. 3 gamer tomorrow, praying to god the sixers can show life for once but i highly doubt it. but once again mil/ind is clearly the best game to target on the slate.
