The actress and director, 45, was the picture of casual-cool during her leisurely stroll dressed in black trousers with a matching cropped T-shirt with a picture of NY punk icons the Ramones on the front of it, which has been a staple of her for years.
The former Dawson's Creek star layered up with a brown cardigan that was a perfect match to her leather purse and belt.
Rounding out her overall look, the Toledo, Ohio native donned a pair of off-white Gucci loafers, and had her dark brown tresses styled long and flowing.
As the clouds began to give way to the glaring sun, Holmes slipped on a pair of cool dark sunglasses just before taking a phone call.
