Mama Dee was actively keeping the financials from D'Andra. It was explained first episode when the accountant told D'Andra that her mother would literally tell the accountant not to tell D'Andra. The hair dye thing was dumb, especially texting Stephanie and not calling or messaging Travis directly. The trip thing I can see her justifying as brand awareness through her being there.

My complaint isn't with her business acumen, but it seems from the preview she might have to begin again. What she means by that is that she might need to find other avenues to keep her extreme wealth and privilege. It's funny because it's all relative, isn't it? She's go dresses worth tens of thousands of dollars and she's crying because she might not have access to a multimillion dollar company which she was expecting to. D'Andra's complaints are so unrelatable, especially given how dependent she's been on her mother to control her destiny. Her mother jerked her around for years and D'Andra acts like she's a victim for it - instead of picking herself up and dusting herself off and trying to make something of herself, she's had her palm open waiting. My sympathy is kind of limited because she's a unique blend of entitled and privileged, with a sprinkle of learned helplessness.
