Been trying to find a video of it for a while, always gave me a good chuckle, rip to a legend

I would put Sagat at low mid tier in SFV due to how polarizing top tier - mid tier chars are against slow movement, slow normals, & weak offensive options. What made Sagat, Sagat is great zoning, great normals, and the ability to finish off your opponent with chip kill.

Sagat needs: Tiger knee adjustment. Should be less - on block from all ranges. EX Tiger Knee should always be + on block. Jump should be lower and slightly faster. Dash should have better recovery Cr. hk should be slightly faster Should not be able to low profile low tiger shot

I know about his clause and understandably its something that he as a player have asked for.
But I think the clause is "shit" to some extent. I believe Barcelona should sit down and have a talk, maybe more so depending on how the pre-season goes.

B-team LB spot is free and being 3rd option on LB for Barca isn't that bad.
But you have to sell the "idea/plan" to Valle.

You start by telling him that he would get called up if Alonso or Balde gets injured/suspended etc or if a say we get a lot of CB injuries and Alonso moves into CB role. This just gives us more coverage.(A lot have been concerned about this already, people wanted to sign Grimaldo etc)

A year from now Alonso is done. (Hopefully)
This means that Valle could technically transition into replacing Alonso during this year.
If he gets to play a few times this year. So you have to sell that idea/plan to Valle.

If Valle gets sent out on loan, this would almost certainly lead to either Alonso renewing or Barcelona having to throw money and hig wages after a LB a year from now.
Which I guess in some peoples mind, that isn't a bad approach. But it can be avoided.

Him coming back and just replacing someone are as likely as everyone else who people thought would do it. See what happen to Nico? Once gone, easier to rule out even though the plan was for him to come back and play a part.
Regardless of Valle gaining more experience, its almost always the death of players Barca career going on loan. This is just literally facts at this point. They have to stay whitin reach and be included in training and if someone gets injured/suspended then they get called.

So why is it "bad" sending him out on loan?
Sending Valle out on loan is just going be forced to sign LB for B-team now, while also risk having lack of depth if Balde gets injured. That LB just like last year, will almost certainly be shit and its unlikely that Takahashi will get called up to A-team this season. So you'll especially get screwed if Balde gets injured. This could be less painful if Barca gets a RB.

The ideal plan would be:
Have Valle in B-team, but A-team dynamic. (Training and called up when there is room)
While Niko Takahashi in the dynamic for B-team.
Whenever Valle hits the A-team, Niko gets to play for B-team.
So a year from now, Valle replaces Alonso, and Niko replaces Valle on the B-team.
This is a actual plan and could work out.

But plans can go wrong.
Valle can indeed be a failure. But at least you'll know that. You as a club/player are able to move away from that idea instead of spending years on loan which could be destructive to players career. It's good for both parties and its good for the others below Valle.

So if it is a failure, that would mean keeping Alonso/buying a depth option a stronger argument and put Niko Takahashi in a similar situation as Valle had this year.
While Jofre Torrents or Albert Navarro stays in the dynamic for the B-team similar to the role that Niko had. This means progression and nobody is getting "blocked" which just risk progression staggnating.

What if Balde do in fact get injured?
Profile wise we'll be no near what we do with Balde on the field with Alonso. Barca would almost be certain to skip using 4 midfielders. Because they would end up being way too back heavy with players such as Alonso and Kounde on the LB/RB roles which offers very little to non overlapping or offensive movement.

This would be even worse if players like Pedri or Dembele out because of their creativity. Consider their injury history. You're just a few injuries away from showing some lackluster football again or just a injury away on Balde to change the system.

This system would be easier functional had Barcelona had a similar RB as they have in Balde on the left side as you could technically just shift the team. Meaning Alonso becomes "Kounde" and the offensive RB becomes "Balde". But currently Barcelona lacks that RB so they can't do that.

Valle is much more closer to a Balde profile than Alonso is.
Even though Valle is more of a inverted left-back, his ability go forward is not unknown/lacking. Valle is not a world class talent, but he isn't required to one either. Because the goal here isn't to replace Balde. But to find someone who can slot in when needed and potentially replace Alonso a year from now, while also attempting to avoid to spend unnecessary money towards LB spot on B-team and A-team.

been brushing up on my FGC knowledge and realised that Alex Valle's birthday is April 11 1978, which means he turns 41 today.

I don't know much about the guy except that he's a legend. Couldn't pass up this chance to randomly discover his birthday is today, so happy birthday.

You ever want to describe footies to someone just show them this match. Two Street Fighter gods going at it, even has some fireball wars, sometimes claimed impossible in Third Strike. They're almost playing a SF2 match inside of SF3. Just with parries and dashes and supers.

If I could have a new Street Fighter, or change SFV, it would be something that had more matches that look like this.

Truth is it doesn't really matter what the game is though, Alpha 3, Super Turbo, Third Strike, SFIV, these two make anything look classic when they go at it.
