Just saw the concert last night and it was AMAZING! I could rave about so many aspects but the one that stands out the most is just how impressed I am with Adam as the lead singer.
I never watched literally any clips of the last concerts with Adam so I went in completely blind and he was fantastic! His stage presence and attitude was fabulous, he gave off Freddie vibes but not in a way that’s trying to hard to copy him. Queen with a front runner that didn’t give off a fabulous queen attitude would never feel right imo and Adam did it perfectly. His performance during Killer Queen and Bicycle Race was my absolute favorite, his expressions and movements were perfect, as was the set during those songs!
I’m actually blown away and truly feel that Freddie would love Adam!
Also, I know Brian isn’t insanely old and is still very capable but my gosh I feel he had the least amount of breaks! I was so impressed by his stamina because i don’t think even my 25 y/o self could do all he does during the concert!

The ‘go Adam’ gets me every time
I am so torn on this. They are coming to my town for two dates in November. I’ve watched the documentary, and I respect Lambert for knowing his place and doing his own versions of the songs, but I can’t say I love his versions. I know this is probably my last chance to see Brian & Roger live given their ages. That said, I’m concerned that seeing them without Freddie will just rip an even bigger hole in my heart. Anyone out there feel the same way, but went to see them anyway and were glad they did? Tickets are $450, so I want to be sure either way.

I just saw Queen and Adam Lambert I’m concert at Madison Square Garden in NYC on October 12 and it was awesome!!! I had such a great time and loved every minute of it! It was so amazing hearing Queen’s classic songs in person! Adam was really great too he’s a really good singer also Brian was amazing as always on the guitar I took about 60 photos and videos of the concert it was such an amazing night
I remember reading last year that they were considering it, is it really gonna happen ?
Edit: I personally think if there is songs like the live version of Ghost Town from Rock In Rio 2015, and tbh Lucy with Brain May, it wouldn’t be that bad!
I’d never been to any actual sort of concert until now, so I decided to start off big with the greatest band in history. Prior to seeing them I admit, I was a little iffy about AL. I didn’t hate him or anything, I just preferred someone like Marc Martel. But I just came back to my hotel room after watching Queen in Denver, my expectations were already extremely high as the seats costed an arm and a leg, but I was STILL absolutely blown away by the insane production, Brian and Roger’s ability to still play and sing incredibly well, and best of all, Adam’s voice. His voice, especially in the second half of the show with songs like Tie Your Mother Down, Who Wants To Live Forever, and of course The Show Must Go On were absolutely brilliant! No more doubting Adam from me

Wow Adam was amazing as a mentor. What did we actually have helpful tips and criticism. How refreshing was this. He told Megan Danielle to not uptempo and take it to church. Also We Ani had her best performance yet because of him. We will gladly boot useless Luke and get Adam a spot on the judging panel.

Adam Lambert can sing the phone book, but he sang his way. He didn’t try to imitate Freddy. That was fine. If anyone could sing those big vocals and do them justice it is him.
Because of his guitar style, Brian May made me really realize I was watching Queen onstage. He is a Rock Star in capital letters. So is Roger Taylor who had his own feature songs.
And in places they did insert videos of Freddie. Brian did an acoustic version of Love of My Life and had a video version of Freddie dueting. I was in tears.
Probably one of the best rock shows I have ever seen, and I’ve seen a lot of shows. Their music has been part of my life’s soundtrack since I was an elementary schooler.
I know a lot of people in here like Lambert and to each their own but the reason I preferred Paul Rodgers was he never felt like he was trying to imitate Freddie Mercury or came across as a poor man's version of him like Adam Lambert does.
He was his own man and having him sing with Queen gave the band a different feel that respectfully separated the band from the Mercury era. Every time I watch Lambert it just makes me cringe as he looks like someone cosplaying as Mercury... even if he's not doing it intentionally and is just naturally flamboyant with similar taste in clothes the fact Brian and Roger tried to choose someone so similar is a bit creepy and off to me... I preferred the Rodgers era of moving on from Freddie and drawing a line under it.
And while it's not a big issue I also liked how Rodgers was closer in age to Queen than Lambert. Queen + Lambert looks weird to me like he's performing with his grandparents.
