I see people say shit like this on reddit and twitter. What does it mean?

And what does it mean when they say the NBA needs to push new superstars? This isn't WWE, how does the NBA push someone?

Adam silver is at the Knicks/sixers game this afternoon. Do you think he’s enjoying Kyle Lowry & Tyrese Maxey sprinting to Nick Nurse at full speed twirling their fingers in the air after every play?

Bailey of the Dallas Mavericks, the NBA’s first and only emotional support dog has passed away

Bailey was brought into the Mavericks organization at the suggestion of their wellness department to help reduce stress. Heather Mau, the Mavs’ assistant athletic trainer, served as Bailey’s caretaker and said players like Dwight Powell, Josh Green, Timothy Hardaway, and Maxi Kleber were especially close to her.

"From the moment I got you, your personality lit up every room. You exuded confidence, and at times a little bit of sass (just like your mom), but also had such a tender and caring love for everyone. It’s like you were meant to be the first ESA in the NBA!" Heather wrote on Instagram. "You were taken away from us too soon sweet girl, and I don’t understand why and may never know why, but just know you impacted so many people."

My obscure collection of NBA game worn armbands / wristbands that started in 2003

Back in the day a ton of NBA players who wore armbands/wristbands would add some personal flair to it by having something custom stitched on. I always thought these little details were amazing and interesting and thats when instead of asking for shoes or a jersey after a game I would go for the armbands. I have obtained most of these from being a season ticket holder with the Orlando Magic and having seats by the visiting tunnel (some I have traded or purchased through auction). I would always try talk to the players beforehand during shoot around to try to ask them if I could have it after the game. Majority of players were pretty cool about following through on their promise, but of course you would have ones that would forget or if it was a tough loss they would storm by. David Stern actually banned (no pun intended) customized armbands around the 06-07 season. Starting to see a comeback over these past 2 years with Ant, Kelly O, Tatum, etc.

These NBA players are SO inconsistent

Full disclosure I’ve really never been into sports until I started sports betting. I’ve basically had to learn the game in a couple of months so that I can try to make bets that aren’t utter dogshit. In an attempt to do this I take the box scores from past matchups and apply the stats to the current game. How are these fools that were scoring 25+ points the past 3 matchups scoring 2 points the whole game?! This has happened all week🤦🏻‍♀️ I want to quit betting but I keep hoping I’ll get a win that will make it worth it. Uhg
