I just watched some of the highlights from the latest Chinese auto show and the innovations EV car companies are making are incredible.

Innovations are turning over in months not years and it’s an exciting time to be an EV vehicle manufacturer not only in China but in US and Europe as well.

It is really clear that Tesla owner has taken the massive first mover advantage that Tesla had and flushed it down the drain solely due to hubris and his massive ego.

Musk incessant need to ALWAYS be the smartest man in the room has crippled any chance of true innovation by his teams at Tesla and as long as he is CEO they will be playing catch up to the rest of the EV market.

It is utterly foolish to believe innovation in the current EV market is going all in on a concept where people loan out their “fully” autonomous cars to strangers while they sleep.

It’s a shame that Musk has run this once revered market leader into the ground and those holding out hope it will get better are completely fooling themselves.

Min gamle leasingavtale er nå i ferd med å løpe ut, så jeg er på utkikk etter en ny bil. Jeg har nå prøvekjørt en rekke biler, og jeg vipper nærmest nye Tesla model 3. Det virker som den gir desidert mest for pengene da det kommer til rekkevidde, komfort, teknologi osv. Jeg var veldig fornøyd etter prøvekjøringen, og ser på den som en drømmebil. Så det var nesten så jeg signerte papirene med en gang.

Men i etterkant sitter jeg med en litt ekkel bismak med å gi penger til Musk. For å sette det på spissen føler jeg at jeg like så greit kunne kjøpt en "I <3 Putin" tskjorte slik han holder på for tiden.

Hva tenker dere? Er det rart å gi slipp på drømmebilen for å ikke støtte Musk? Pengene mine gjør vel ikke akkurat noe forskjell uansett?

has a report available that fetches data from the NHTSA's complaint database. There, you can read the latest complaints filed by Tesla's customers, as well as view some analytics data. There have been a few complaints lately about crashing while on FSD, possibly trialing the software.

You can view the data for any carmaker, but the filter is defaulted to Tesla for a specific reason.

According to complaints filed by customers, Tesla's Model 3 stands on its own in terms of both injuries and deaths. You can see the big red dot on the upper right corner of the first graph below.

Also, Tesla has a higher 'complaint per vehicle sold' ratio than other car makers. To calculate this, you take the total number of vehicles sold in a year and divide by the number of cars each carmaker has sold in that timeframe.

How’s it going? Did you feel that the value you paid was worth it?

There has to be some money in having a good charging Network. I'm looking to drive cross country in the USA and according to Plugshare it's pretty hit and miss except for Tesla. Why is this?

This is what is going to kill the electric car. I know everyone's switching over to NACS but will non-tesla NACS chargers be any more reliable? Should we have to depend on one monopolized auto manufacturer for all of our charging needs?

Also, people outside of the USA are your non Tesla networks fairly reliable?

Edit: It seems like all the non-usa people are saying their networks are reliable. What are we doing wrong here in the USA?
