Nevermind was recorded in May and June of 1991. Aneurysm was complete and debuted live late in 1990 and was featured consistently on set lists from mid-1991 onward. I feel it’s stronger than some tracks on Nevermind, and based on how much they played it live, it seemed to be well-regarded by Kurt. Is anyone aware if Kurt or the band addressed this? Thanks :)

There is actually a difference, mostly just vocal delivery. But what’s everyone’s thoughts?

I feel like these 2 songs are very similar so I am asking which song people like more. Both have high energy and Grohl going crazy on the drums.

Who else thinks it’s one of the best additions to the never mind album? I love their live performance of it at the paramount.

I feel like the slightly slower tempo on the Nevermind version just kills the feeling of the intro + the notes that ring out in the intro are kind of annoying.

You know on the 2 studio recordings the part where he yells beat me outta me, and then sings beat it, beat it after. Why did they never sing that part live?
