Totally thought nibbles had been taken and sent to Washington.

My 4-year old cat (American Shorthair) won't stop meowing & following me everywhere.

I adopted her from a shelter about 6 months ago and I love her dearly - she's very affectionate and loves to play. But she's super clingy, to the point where it's actually disruptive and distracting me from work and (online) classes. She meows so much. It's constant. I was on the phone with my supervisor recently and she was yowling so loud that I had to go to the bedroom and close the door just to muffle the sound. She keeps clawing at my leg in an attempt to get me to pet her while I'm on zoom with my professors and cohort. I can't even close the bathroom door without her throwing a tantrum outside the door but I'm tired of her constantly rubbing on me while I'm sitting on the toilet.

I took her to the vet and had some bloodwork done to see if there's something wrong. Nothing. I keep her food bowl full and change the water in her cat fountain daily. I clean her litter box daily. I have a yard and she goes outside at least twice a day to explore. So I don't think it's because she's hungry/thirsty/feeling dirty/bored. I don't know what to do. Any advice?

Found: Cat (possibly an American Shorthair)

First spotted this cat near the corner of Victoria and Hobson, and she followed my husband and I for several blocks. I don't know much about cats, but she didn't seem like she's used to being outdoors/around traffic. We were worried she'd be hit by a car if we left her outside, so she's currently in our office till we figure out what to do (we have a dog so we can't bring her home).

I'm pretty new to Auckland and don't have FB, so I'd really appreciate any help in spreading the word. Thanks guys!

Update: We took the cat to the nearest vet this morning and not only was she chipped, but when they scanned her, she was identified as a patient of that exact clinic! They knew her name, had her records on file, and were able to reach out to her owners. Thanks for this little miracle, Auckland.

Can anyone tell how old my piggy is, I think he's from 6-10 months old and he might be an American shorthair, he was 6 months or less in August when I got him (banana for scale)
