-
compilation of 8 launch reviews with ~1990 gaming benchmarks at all resolutions
-
only benchmarks at real games compiled, not included any 3DMark & Unigine benchmarks
-
geometric mean in all cases
-
only launch reviews with complete adoption of rBAR & SAM were evaluated
-
standard performance without ray-tracing and/or DLSS/FSR, extra ray-tracing benchmarks at 1080p resolution
-
stock performance on (usual) reference/FE boards, no overclocking
-
factory overclocked cards used: 3060 on Igor's, 6600XT on GameStar, Igor's, Le Comptoir & Tweakers, 6700XT on GameStar
-
factory overclocked cards normalized to reference clocks/performance, but just for the overall performance average
-
performance average is (moderate) weighted in favor of reviews with more benchmarks
-
power consumption for the GPU only, no system power draw

Note: There were a lot of launch reviews for the Radeon RX 6600 XT (around 60), but in the end only 8 of them could be evaluated - because only those proved a current system (with rBAR/SAM for all cards) including current drivers (for all cards, not just the 6600XT). This is not only about the rBAR/SAM feature, but also about the partial use of old benchmark values, which were still set up with 2020 drivers. This is simply a no-go in terms of accuracy and the exact recording of the correct performance differences. Some hardware testers should finally make a move to replace old test configurations with updated ones.

I just bought a new PC with AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT graphics card a few days ago. I encounter this problem, which I have faced a few times and still no idea why: I would go to AMD website to get the latest driver for the graphics card and install it. It would work fine for a day or two, and then the driver started to crash. Going into device manager and looking under Properties tab of the graphics driver gives me the following message: This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31). I would uninstall driver and install it again and it would work for a day, then the same thing happens. I have no idea why. Has anyone faced this issue or have any suggestion how to fix this? Is this a hardware problem?
Edit: it seems that there is another post with similar problem here but reading that post there is not a solution yet.
