Alfonzo McKinnie
Source on Twitter:
McKinnie has been an amazing role player for the Warriors. Solid defense, really good offensive and defensive rebounder, plus shooting 59% on 3s to start the season with 1.0 3PM per game.
Alfonzo McKinnie was not exactly getting rich playing basketball for Rayos de Hermosillo in Mexico’s top league, but his contract did include one perk: 40 percent off wings at a sports bar not far from the arena. So McKinnie would plant himself in front of a big-screen TV with a plate of wings, and watch the Golden State Warriors compete in the N.B.A. playoffs without him, which was understandable since the Warriors had never heard of him.
Damn he's red hot right now. And he's literally a cousin of the warriors. DeMarcus and Alfonzo for splash cousins?
His previous career high was 10, set on October 22nd against the Suns.
McKinnie is 5-8 from the field and 4-4 from three in the half, and is the Warriors' third leading scorer today.

Kid is looking mad good for Golden State! I know playing with 4 all stars will make most look good, but should we have kept? Or were there simply not enough roster spots for him
Great showing from the young blood. Super happy with how he's been playing, especially as an upgrade from McCaw. Great hops, great effort.

Maybe this will be his year.
Continuing to count backwards, the next unique teams to have won a title are the Spurs, Heat, Mavs, C's, Pistons, Bulls. Actually, pretty crazy that only nine unique teams have won since MJ's last title.
He recently proposed to the star prospect’s mom:
LeBron will have someone to watch Sierra Canyon games with on the plane!
I reviewed McKinnie's season and was surprised how down I was on his season. I liked him more BEFORE I watched the tape. He's really bad defensively. I hope he gets better on that end if he comes back.
