Not sure if this is allowed but most people outside this fandom don’t really know who Siddig is…

spoilers for S5 of the show and A Dance With Dragons . . . . . So I finished reading the fifth book, and holy crap they butchered Siddig’s character in the show. He just gets pointlessly killed off when the writers didn’t know what to do with him.

Whereas in the book he convinces the Sand Snakes to work with him by explaining how his passivity is how he covers for the more violent people that work for him. HOT DAMN! I JUST WANNA SEE DR. BASHIR ORDER ASSASSINATIONS IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK!?!?

I just randomly stumbled over this when reading up on the DS9 episode Business as Usual, which was Siddig's directional debut. Just thrown in there as a single sentence landmine to blow my unsuspecting mind.

Do you have any little-known facts about Star Trek actors that might surprise others to learn about?

Hey everyone,

Not sure if everyone is aware but Andrew Robinson and Alexander Siddig did a DS9 "companion" video as Bashir and Garak years after the end of DS9. Judging by the view count on youtube, it appears not many people have seen it yet. I'm sure I'm not the only one who was excited to see these videos.
