Looking for Indiana Jones style adventure comics, cool locals, a fun feel. Other than Duck comics and Tomb Raider, since I'm covered on that. Thinking non-superhero if possible too, though other retro style stuff is on my read list too like Tom Strong. Also The Rocketeer.
Saying 80s on since that's a style I especially like, plus would be more similar to those movies in some ways.
Could also be a little James Bondy. I have read Danger Girl naturally. I also have Adventureman. Just wondering if there's good stuff like this, in this era and style, Dr. Jones kind of stuff.

A subreddit dedicated to discussing the pen and paper RPG published by Mongoose Games: Paranoia. This includes the new Paranoia as well as previous version such as Paranoia XP.
In case you've never read this long out of print and never collected miniseries before, I just discovered it's available to read online if you search for it as "Read Paranoia Adventure Comics". Link removed due to piracy concerns for a book series that will likely never get reprinted or collected.
This looks like the fan scan that was made and distributed over torrents back when Paranoia XP was first published.

So, there is a comic I have been looking for several years but cannot find. It was a comic posted to MS Paint Fan Adventures, a website devoted to fan comics of Andrew Hussie's work. However, it has some original comics (such as Superego) and the topic of this post. I remembered it being called My Family, but googling that yields no result. I remember all the art of the comic was altered assets from Homestuck except one scene in a boiler room, where the art was stolen from Problem Sleuth.
The comic is about this guy who wakes in a house he doesn't recognize. I think the guy I was named Eddie, but I'm not confident. I know it wasn't Oedipus because they made a joke about it. In the house, he finds people, consisting of a man (who is colorless version of Cans), a woman (whose body is based on Snowman but with Vriska's hair) and a girl, with glowing red eyes and who talk the "evil Brits". They think they are Eddie's family but Eddie doesn't recognize them.
Eddie finds a photo of the girl with another boy. Upon showing the girl the photo, she remembers the boy in the photo is her brother and he was gunned to death in front her eyes. The girl loses her red eyes and her memories of when she was brainwashed. She and Eddie decide to explore the house. The house turns out to be in a void where all directions lead back to the house.
They encounter the villains. The villains are strange people who look like silhouettes and are completely black except for their eyes and glowing scars. One of them makes a cryptic remark about them being in "the perfect family". All of these shadow people have a single letter name. The only one I remember was that leader was called "N" (which I remember because they make a Pokemon joke). N has the head of Nepeta but the body of Kanaya albeit silhouetted.
Eventually, it turns out the shadow people are aliens called "Fairies". The Fairies need psychic energy to power their society. However, the energy can only be acquired from happy families. So, they decide to kidnap humans and brainwash them into thinking they are a perfect family.
I can give more details if asked.
