How much are tickets?
Ticket prices are tiered and start at $140 and will reflect all-in pricing. GA on the floor is $270. Tickets top out at $600. The larger capacity at Sphere allows for 60% of tickets to be priced under $300 and there will also be a limited number of premium priced tickets per show (sold at a higher price, about $1500).

Are there (RED) Zones?
Yes. 50 tickets to experience the show from an exclusive VIP riser in one (RED) Zone will be made available for purchase benefitting Bono's (RED) organization.

Can tickets be resold?
GA floor tickets will be restricted from transfer and may only be resold at the original purchase price. Reselling other tickets may become possible via Ticketmaster but it seems the option will open up closer up to the respective show dates.

What is Ticketmasters Verified Fan system?
Verified Fan will be used to ensure more tickets get into the hands of fans who want to go to the show, not buyers looking to resell them.

Now that Bono's book tour has concluded, and ticket sales for U2:UV Achtung Baby Live at the Sphere are almost complete, use this thread to look for tickets to buy, sell, or trade.

We are not going to be monitoring this thread at all. So please be very wary of the transaction you will be making. Do your due diligence, which can include asking to see people's socials, and using PayPal goods and services (NOT, friends and family).

I do not run it, but it is run by a slew of other very great U2 fans that I do know personally that do a great job.

The reason I recommend it is because if you are active on social media, you will be able to see if you have mutual friends with other people, thus you'll be able to cross-reference the person you're buying from with a mutual friend. On Reddit, it's quite anonymous. Which is why we won't be monitoring this thread closely, but we WILL have it for those that do not have social media.

I'm not a fan of "me" stories here, but I'm allowing myself a bit of Reddit narcissism to share.

I've been reflecting on why seeing U2, playing all of Achtung Baby, at the Sphere (10/13 show for those keeping score), has affected me so much. Spoiler: it wasn't just the amazing visuals or the callback to ZooTV.

Achtung Baby has always been my album. It's the dozen songs that made me not just a fan, but a forever fan, and got me through being a clueless twenty-something in the 90's.

My first exposure to the boys came in the mid-80's from a high school friend. He was a huge fan by the time Joshua Tree came out and pulled together made a mix tape or two for me, a non-believer. And it worked! I quickly added U2 to burgeoning list of musical influences, and a bunch of us even saw Rattle and Hum on the big screen during our Senior year. While amazing in their own right, I still to this day kind of associate JT & RH with my friend's influence. They were the gateway albums that got me in.

Achtung Baby hits different, because it was my choice. Years after high school, I was in the record store, saw the CD with that crappy cardboard folding case, and decided to take a chance on it, just because it was U2. In other words, it's always been my own damn fault that I love that album so much. To this day, it's one of the handful of albums that I can listen straight through. Hearing all twelve at the Sphere, and sharing it with my son, brought my fandom full circle, 30+ years later.

As a final aside, it was actually me going on about how great AB was to that very same high school friend years after the first mix tape that began my own "musical journey". We traveled into the depths of middle Iowa to see something they were calling ZooTV... But that's another story for another time. :)

Island Records, Interscope and UMe today announce the 30th Anniversary Edition release of U2’s seminal album Achtung Baby, which will see a special Standard and Deluxe vinyl release on 19th November, ahead of a 50-track digital boxset available 3rd December 2021.

Thirty years ago, Bono described Achtung Baby as “the sound of four men chopping down The Joshua Tree” while Jon Pareles of the New York Times wrote that “stripped-down and defying its old formulas, U2 has given itself a fighting chance for the 1990's”. The album won a Grammy Award for Best Rock Performance and became one of the most significant records of the nineties and of U2’s career.
