Any posts that include these questions will be removed as they have already been answered here, this is to avoid bloat of posting on the Subreddit so everyone has a smooth experience.

Q. Where can I find others to play with and do the challenge? A. Please use the Discord Community Server.

Q. Will I be able to use KB/M? A. KB/M is not enabled for consoles as of right now, but will be added at some point after launch.

Q. Will my rewards and progress transfer to the final version of the game?
A. Your rewards will; your progress will not.

Q. Can I stream this test or publish content from it on YouTube or TikTok (or other social medias)?
A. Yes you can, there is no NDA.

Q. I'm having server issues (specifically server issues, not a hardware error) what do I do???
A. Just take a break and wait, spamming your buttons isn't going to magically get you in and doing so actually makes the issue worse for others and yourself, so take a break!

Q. Where do I send my feedback?
A. You can post your feedback here! The developers have already confirmed they do read this Subreddit and actively look to it for feedback, so feel free to make a thorough in-depth post with what you like, don't like, etc. But try to keep it to one post!

Q. Where do I report bugs and other issues?
A. Firstly, please take the time to scan the Subreddit to see if a bug has already been posted before you post that same bug, otherwise your post may be removed by us. If you do not see a post regarding the bug, look on the sidebar of the Subreddit to see if it is listed under 'Known Bugs'. If you have already checked and you are 1000% sure the bug has not been posted or is listed on the sidebar please make a post and then on top of that file a report to Ubisoft Support.

Q. Why can't I play this test on PS4 / Xbox One?
A. It seems the developers have opted to not enable it for those platforms, and there is some rumors that those versions may be canceled, but that is not official (yet).

Q. Why is there no jump penalty? A. There is, it's just turned off for this test.

Test Details

As announced in the previous update, XDefiant is hosting a Server Test Session to help test their servers' status and provide critical information to prepare for launch.

Pre-load is available now, so you can be ready to hop into the test as soon as it's open. Starting April 19th until April 21st, the Server Test Session will be open, worldwide, to anyone on latest gen platforms and PC.

• Start time: Friday, April 19th - 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET

• End time: Sunday, April 21st - 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET

Server Test Session is available to players on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X | S.

Server Test Session Rewards

During the test, there are rewards you will be able to earn for exclusive weapon skins and a weapon XP booster. By completing the challenges to earn the rewards, you will have these items available to use on Day 1 of launch!

• Play in the test: MP5 Shamrock Weapon Skin

• Play in a Party: M9 Ember Weapon Skin

• Reach Level 18: Weapon XP Boosters (x3)

How to download

PC

1. Open your Ubisoft Connect application. If you do not have that, get it here

2. It should be right there on your front page, if it isn't restart / redownload the app

PlayStation 5

1. Go to the 'PlayStation Store'

2. Search 'XDefiant' and click whatever pops up

3. If you can't install from there, click '. . .'

4. Click 'View Product' and then '. . .' again

5. Click Download.

Xbox Series X | S

To play the Server Test Session, just search for XDefiant and download the test from the Microsoft store.

If you played an XDefiant test before and kept the game in your library, that is a different "product" just called XDefiant. Keep it as it will eventually be the final launch product.

In addition, if you still have the Closed Beta build, this one will have a grey icon and is expired, you can delete it.

How do you know if you have the right build downloaded?

It's called XDefiant - Server Test Session and the icon is a big X.
