How is nobody talking about Amanda's old tweets where she basically exposed Dan and her parents?!? Does anyone else remember the Ashley Banks account she made?

Today marks the 37th birthday of Amanda Bynes, which she will unfortunately spend under psychiatric hold in the hospital, days after being found roaming naked around Los Angeles, living in the streets. A particularly sad situation for the once popular actress seen as a promising and exciting talent by many prior to her complete breakdown over a decade ago and who had supposedly been getting better before this latest incident, even being set have her first public appearance since her breakdown at an All That reunion.

I have not seen all, but most of Amanda's film work, and thought this might be an opportunity to share your thoughts about her, your recommendations, rankings, well wishes, memories or whatever you want about her. Here is my personal ranking:

1 - (2006) - undoubtedly Amanda's best film in my opinion, from the makers of 10 Things I Hate About You, it is like it also an adaptation of a William Shakespeare play moved to a modern American high school setting. Just a great teen movie that's a ton of fun. Stream it on Paramount+ or PlutoTV

2 - (2007) - Amanda has a supporting part in this winning adaptation of the musical adapted from the 1988 John Waters film, surrounded by a fantastic cast (Travolta, Pfeiffer, Walken, Latifah, Marsden, Efron, Brittany Snow, etc). Stream it on HBO Max

3 - (2007) - Amanda's final lead role, this modern high school adaptation of the Snow White fairy tale was poorly received upon release but I find a quite enjoyable teen movie. Amanda plays her usual "awkward tomboy yet hot" character which she has fully mastered at this point. Not available to stream

4 - (2008) - Amanda has a small part in this film detailing the development of the breast cancer treatment Herceptin, in her first and only dramatic role. Not available to stream

5 - (2002) - Amanda's first film, pleasantly silly and featuring a great villain performance by Paul Giamatti. Not available to stream

6 - (2003) - Amanda stars in a variation of The Princess Diaries and the like alongside the likes of Colin Firth, Jonathan Pryce and Kelly Preston. Not available to stream

7 - (2005) - I'm ranking this the lowest of her films, but that doesn't mean this variation on Overboard isn't a good time, at least for enjoyers of the genre. Stream it on Tubi, Vudu, Plex or Freevee

8 - (2002-2006) - I'm pretty split on Amanda's one regular, narrative TV show. I enjoyed it a lot at the start but by the final season I found both the main characters insufferable. Keep your eyes out for plenty of notable guest stars, from Abigail Breslin to Tony Hawk, Megan Fox, Luke Perry and many more. Not available to stream

Have somehow still not seen Easy A (which I hear is great), nor her other work aside from some bits of All That and The Amanda Show here and there.

Happy birthday Amanda. Whether or not you ever make it back on screen, I truly wish you to be able to put your issues behind you and live a happy life.

My iq went down 15 points watching quite on set new episode….Considering Amanda Bynes is a victim her whole life it’s gross she’s being called racist by two black supremacist uncle toms. They’re making us all in the black community look bad with their boy who cried wolf bs (overusing the race card when it’s not warrented leads people to instinctually ignore the word. Read the boy who cried wolf). 🐺

She’s not racist for spitting on black people it was a SKETCH! Spit takes are common in sketch comedies. The fact they cry “it’s racist. As simple as that” to a 8 year old spitting on another 8 year old is just intellectually offensive. They’re uncle toms trying to milk the race card for clout. Those 2 and the halfrican host are just race baiting racist.

Amanda bynes is NOT RACIST and the fact you’re not seeing people attack her on her social media pages is disgusting! She’s not racists nd telling her to kill Gerard when she has a history of mental health issues is just fucking nasty. Please don’t paint us all like these nasty ass weirdos who sold out are race to attack Amanda Bynes for clout. Most of us think those two on quote on set episode 5 are ass clowns. 🤡

Watching the documentary just made me feel bad for everyone involved especially Amanda Bynes. She was my Nickelodeon crush when I was a kid but its just to sad to see her current state. The weird thing is that reading a TMZ article she is thankful to Dan Schneider and Nick for her career. Do you think she is genuine in that statement or is her parents fault that she is at the state she is at right now? I hope she is mentally and physically doing well.

Amanda, please! Amanda Bynes is reconnecting with her fans as she gears up for some new projects.

After recently , the All That alum exclusively told The Messenger she's also getting ready to debut a new podcast co-hosted by her "best friend," biochemist Paul Sieminski.

"The podcast will be about the entertainment industry," she said. "We toured a studio yesterday and will start filming in December."

Bynes previously explained in an Instagram that they plan on interviewing friends before having some celebrity guests on the podcast. She also raved about working with Sieminski.

"Having his beautiful mind being a part of this podcast is just going to bring it to another level because he's gonna ask great questions, and I think he'll carry most of the weight in terms of topics of conversation," said Bynes.

In October, Bynes announced that she and Sieminski are working on a coffee-table book, for which they held a photo shoot in Los Angeles.

Her latest announcement comes after she was detained for a mental health evaluation by the Los Angeles Police Department in June, following the end of her nine-year conservatorship in 2022.
