Okay, I came up with the jankiest idea I ever got and I wanted to share it. I present the deck with zero rare cards:

The key inclusion is the new hustle belt. By playing Po town, Dugtrio comes into play with 30 HP, giving it a 60 damage boost, or 2 less energy required. Since it's already made of tissue paper, it doesn't care it's that low. If po town dings a zoroark for 30 that's just a bonus

I played against a Standard variant of Zoroark GX and Alolan Dugtrio on PTCGO the other day, and I've been trying to figure out exactly what that list is, because I love the Alolan Dugtrio deck concept. Can anyone help me out with filling out the deck list? Here's what I have so far: Zorua SLG x3 Zoroark GX SLG x3 Alolan Diglett UPR x4 Alolan Dugtrio UPR x4 Mt. Coronet UPR x2 Professor's Letter BKT x2 Nest Ball SUM x2 Energy Retrieval EVO x4 Brock's Grit EVO x1 Rescue Stretcher GRI x1

I am coming up with at least 1 fake move that would be exclusive to 1 Pokémon or an evolutionary line of Pokémon. I am going in Pokédex order, and I will skip every Pokémon or evolutionary line that already has a Pokémon in it that has a signature move. Signature Z-moves or G-Max moves don't count.

The move for Alolan Dugtrio is called Hair Whip.

Hair Whip is a Steel-Type Physical move with a base power of 80. This move has 100% accuracy and 20 PP. This move has no secondary effect.

Okay, okay, I know not giving this move a secondary effect is pretty lame, but I didn't do that for a few reasons. There are multiple moves that already lack a secondary effect, so it's nothing new. Also, I just didn't know what this move could do besides just dealing damage. It's pretty obvious why I chose this move for Alolan Dugtrio. The move is Steel-Type because the 'hair' of this Pokémon is made out of steel. Alolan Dugtrio uses its hair as a whip in order to deal damage in case it wasn't obvious from the name of the move. :P

I'd love to hear feedback, and if you have any ideas for signature moves for Pokémon, I'd love to hear them, I might use the ideas (with your consent of course)! Even though this is a daily thing, or at least, I'll try to keep it daily, I don't think I'll be consistent with the time of day I post another idea.

Okay, so I wasn’t around Reddit when S/M was released originally. I HAVE to know from the seasoned veterans around here: what was the reaction to Alolan Dugtrio like? Was it one of hilarity (I can only imagine the memes), was it outrage, was it an smh ? I’m very curious about this

My Bastiodon is a lucky 1500cp (13-15-15 att-def-sta). My friend’s A-Dugtrio is 1495cp.

Moveset on A-Dugtrio is Mud Slap + Mud Bomb.

Lucario can beat Bastiodon slightly faster.

Not BDIF but it’s tier 2 at least. One prize attacker that can OHKO almost anything in the meta without energy attachment!

Playing it felt like it’s going to be the new night march this format.
