Help my cat puked inside my husbands acoustic guitar

My cat vomited inside the guitar it must have happened over night because it’s dried a bit I’ve tried getting the chunks out but it’s really hard. Does anyone have experience cleaning something like this?

Update we just took off the strings and used a metal spatula to carefully chip off the dried puke. We then stuck a vacuum hose inside to get up the “crumbs” this took maybe three hours and the results are acceptable it wasn’t an expensive guitar it was my brothers that he had abandoned in my moms basement to rot my husband just felt awful because he took it to fix up and restring because he hated seeing a musical instrument treated so poorly.

She’s looking pretty good and we bought her fresh strings 👍🏻

Edit: I realize I said My Cat in the title but Our Cat is more correct. He is every bit as much my husbands cat

[QUESTION] Under $500 acoustic guitar suggestions?

I want to buy a guitar for my wife for her birthday, and am looking to spend $400-500. She was a proficient player, but had to sell her guitar a few years ago. Part of me is thinking to just give her the money and tell her to pick one out, but I know she’ll feel obligated to use the money on bills, so I’d really like to surprise her with a guitar, but I don’t know where to start. Any suggestions?
