As long as it comes out before I die... dies

Waiting for Silksong.

[–]Lavosking 18 points19 points  (0 children)

R.I.P in peace

[–]dewhashish 1352 points1353 points  (16 children)

The reason why it's taking so long is because the game is full of bugs.

[–]StevenXC 209 points210 points  (2 children)

roll CSI Miami intro

[–]rfp0231 99 points100 points  (1 child)

YEEEAAAAAAHH!

[–]CreakinFunt 30 points31 points  (0 children)

We don't get fooled again

[–]chocotripchip 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Ah!

[–]non_clever_username 13 points14 points  (11 children)

All seriousness, was that an issue with the original? I only first started playing it last year so after all the bugs would have presumably been fixed.

Seemed pretty clean to me. The only bug I found is one time on one of the trials, I somehow got trapped above the ceiling.

E: oh wow I’m dumb I missed the joke. woosh

[–]rabbidbunnyz22 39 points40 points  (2 children)

Nah it's always been super tightly programmed

[–]ApprehensiveSand 10 points11 points  (0 children)

flukenest enters the chat

[–]SadisticSlothe_e 9 points10 points  (0 children)

To be honest, during the first month the game ran somewhat choppy in rainy areas and others or during special attacks/charm effects if you didn't have great hardware, but it got fixed really quickly, only balancing stuff took a while. Silksong is surely going to run well from the get go as they have more experience, but balancing will still go through several iterations

[–]PwnThemAll 11 points12 points  (3 children)

no, it's a joke, because the game has many insect characters and enemies, ie, it's full of bugs

[–]non_clever_username 6 points7 points  (2 children)

Oh wow I’m dumb…lol

[–]bappypawedotter 6 points7 points  (1 child)

Name checks out

[–]non_clever_username 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Heh

[–]BadAtMostThings 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I first played it about three years ago and don’t remember any bugs, the devs seem to be quite good at polishing things up given how small their team is.

[–]Exquisite_Poupon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Mentioned this to a friend who played when it came out and said there were some issues with bugs initially. They likely don’t want a repeat of that.

[–]CatLord90 153 points154 points  (15 children)

Which will come out first: Silksong or George RR Martin’s Winds of Winter?

[–]A_Lone_Macaron 119 points120 points  (8 children)

Silksong because there’s no way WoW will ever happen lol

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points  (6 children)

oh come on, don't say that. it hurts

[–]Urthop 2 points3 points  (5 children)

At this point I've lost all interest to read it, even if it would come out right this instant, I was already getting kinda bored with the series in the last book, and there's no way I'm rereading them again to remember who the hell everyone was again. Too... many... characters...

[–]FenixthePhoenix 7 points8 points  (1 child)

And as a side note, I'm pretty sure George wrote himself into a corner and has no fucking clue how to land the plane. Which is really why it's taking so long.

[–]DevilsAdvocake -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In I think book 4 he introduced some new character and I just put the book down and never looked back.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not me, HotD rekindled my interest in the series and motivated me to 'reread' the books on audible. Now I am hyped all over again, sadly.

[–]Alabaster_13 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I see your Winds of Winter and raise you Rothfuss's Doors of Stone. Winds of Winter will eventually be released in some form. DoS is likely just an outline in an abandoned word doc on some forgotten flash drive.

[–]_Auron_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to re-read your comment several times before it made sense.

I need more sleep.

[–]-Googlrr 13 points14 points  (1 child)

Didn't Xbox 'confirm' it would be out by June? Not sure how concrete that is but I imagine sometime this year

[–]SuperRayman001 16 points17 points  (0 children)

They did confirm it and the very playtester from this article (plus 2 other playtesters as well) backed it up. So, Silksong currently has a release window ending in 4 months

[–]flippiej 2 points3 points  (1 child)

You forgot to mention The doors of Stone by Patrick Rothfuss.

[–]CatLord90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man Rothfuss is even more of a disappointment because his books are a trilogy. I get it mental health problems suck. I deal with them every day myself. But he had only one more book to finish

[–]marsgreekgod 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Silk song easy it will be out in less then a year

[–]UnifyTheVoid 365 points366 points  (19 children)

Hollow Knight is my second favorite game of all time, behind Outer Wilds. Beaten all the pantheons, done every boss on radiant. Steel Soul mode, all achievements, and I generally have replayed it every year, which is rare for me to ever beat a game more than twice.

The fact that this game has no release date is so fucking reassuring. I know it's weird. But it tells me that the developers are 100% certain that they have to get this right. That they won't release something that is subpar or not of the same caliber of the original. And that's how it should be done. Deadlines for games are a fucking tragedy. It's finished when it's finished.

Maybe I'll be wrong, but I wouldn't be shocked one bit if this game was better than the first in every way, and that's going to be incredibly difficult, maybe nearly impossible to do.

[–]azure_atmosphere 54 points55 points  (0 children)

I think it’s especially difficult for a team so small to be able to accurately predict when they’ll be done. If something unexpectedly breaks, then at least one person, a third of their entire workforce, now has to dedicate their time to fixing it, leaving everything else they were doing on hold. If someone catches a nasty flu, they lose a third of their workforce for a week. If two more people catch the nasty flu off the first person then the entire studio is down for a week. Small problems can be devastating when you have neither the manpower nor the time to cover for it, so when you can’t have one, you better make sure you have the other.

[–]thezuke67 56 points57 points  (5 children)

Did I create another account and post this in my sleep? Other than beating all the bosses on radiant- you're an absolute madman. Hollow Knight and Outer Wilds are probably my top two games of all time. I never thought I'd be able to get all the achievements in Hollow Knight, but it ended up being one of the most satisfying challenges I've had in gaming. Celeste is also up there.

I have complete confidence in Team Cherry, and I don't care in the slightest how much time it takes them.

[–]UnifyTheVoid 21 points22 points  (4 children)

Celeste is such an amazing game as well. Definitely up there. I remember on my first playthrough the Path of Pain in HK was so freaking difficult. Took me hours. About a year later, I did another run through HK to do The Grim Troupe DLC, right after I had just finished Celeste. It was a breeze the second time!

[–]thezuke67 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Right? It's insane how much easier most platforming is after the precision of Celeste!

[–]J3wb0cca 4 points5 points  (1 child)

Did you also complete the B and C sides? I found some of them very difficult but managed to get through after dying almost a thousand times in total overall.

[–]UnifyTheVoid 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I did! Very difficult indeed. Also very much enjoyed the Farewell DLC, that last level was insane.

[–]IncandescentCreation 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I am sour over Celeste personally because at the beginning the game stresses that collecting strawberries is optional, but then the ending is based entirely off of how many you collect. The game is supposed to be inspiring but the ending left me disappointed instead.

[–]carnochone 3 points4 points  (2 children)

Nice dude, I'm still stuck on absolute radiance. I'm like 2-150 on her rn :'D outer wilds looks fun though, been wanting to play that. I will as soon as I finish pantheon 5

[–]cornpenguin01 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Does godhome have checkpoints? Like I know it’s a boss rush DLC, but do you have to fight a bunch of bosses even before starting the absolute radiance fight?

[–]WarLordTMC 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes and no. Pantheons 1-4 are a subset of about 7-8 bosses, with a Pantheon-exclusive boss at the end. Pantheon 5 is a full boss rush - you fight all the bosses in the game (and some new ones) in one go, ending with AbsRad. That said, you are given points to heal, fill your Soul and change charms multiple times throughout P5, which gives you some time to breathe. Also, any pantheon-exclusive bosses will be available to practice in the Hall of Gods after you first encounter them.

[–]azure_atmosphere 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think it’s especially difficult for a team so small to be able to accurately predict when they’ll be done. If something unexpectedly breaks, then at least one person, a third of their entire workforce, now has to dedicate their time to fixing it, leaving everything else they were doing on hold. If someone catches a nasty flu, they lose a third of their workforce for a week. If two more people catch the nasty flu off the first person then the entire studio is down for a week. Small problems can be devastating when you have neither the manpower nor the time to cover for it, so when you can’t have one, you better make sure you have the other.

[–]hamboy315 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A person of culture I see. Outer Wilds is a mind blowing game and a prime example of a story that couldn’t be told through any other medium.

I’m also happy with no Silksong release date. They probably have internal deadlines and aren’t working to crunch for a specific date. It’s going to be an incredible game and they don’t have to focus on anything besides working on it.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone who has ever asked a developer when something will be completed knows it just upsets them.

[–]IntellegentIdiot 1 point2 points  (1 child)

A delayed game is eventually good, a rushed game is always bad.

[–]Hot-Television-7512 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Neither of those statements are logical or true.

[–]bisforbenis 71 points72 points  (6 children)

Of course it is. Anyone who’s played Hollow Knight then seen the Silksong trailer shouldn’t be surprised to hear this.

Also, it’s made by like 2 people, these things take a while, I know it’s been kind of a meme to freak out about how long it’s taken, but honestly for a small team like this and anything resembling the quality of Hollow Knight (which is generally safe to assume given what we’ve seen), this isn’t an unusual amount of time to take for it to release

[–]Elkbowy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Man I really want team cherry to somewhat expand how many employees they have… not saying they should have a ton but like 3 or 4 more, they may have already I don’t know but the more games they make of hollow knight quality the better the game world is

[–]promero14 6 points7 points  (4 children)

also pandemic hit and delayed everything

[–][deleted] 31 points32 points  (2 children)

I'm not sure that the pandemic delayed a three-person dev team. Most of the disruption was to large companies that had to transition to a WFH setup. I imagine if the three devs from Team Cherry need to be in the same place to work, they were in each other's bubble throughout the pandemic.

[–]SuperRayman001 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Team Cherry said that the pandemic had next to no effect on their development. The source is a fan bumped into one of their members at a coffee shop, asked him about it and then made a post telling people.

[–]Magmagan 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The pandemic also affected a lot of people's lives and families outside of work... If one person from Team Cherry has to take time off, that's a much greater blow to productivity than any WFH transition could be,

[–]bisforbenis 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I suppose I don’t know how much that impacted Team Cherry. Larger teams would likely be affected a great deal but given what we know about the team structure for Team Cherry, it’s entirely plausible it didn’t really affect them.

They have the main 2 that would likely need to work together, it wouldn’t have been unreasonable for that to have been rather unaffected, especially since they largely focus on different aspects of the game. Then they have one extra guy for programming help, which could have likely been easy to do remotely Then their composer likely worked remotely anyways, and if not, it’s something that could easily transition to it

Now it’s possible they’ve expanded their team somewhat and we wouldn’t know, but given what we know with how small it is and how their division of responsibilities works, it’s quite possible that it didn’t impact them at all, or at least that it had very little impact

Bigger teams would have suffered a lot more.

Still not unreasonable though, it’ll still likely be under 5 years for a very small team with a very ambitious project, especially for a team that has a mindset of really prioritizing taking their time to do it right and likely with a budget from the success of Hollow Knight that allows them to take their time.

[–]GuyNamedJason 13 points14 points  (2 children)

I would say although not a perfect comparison and there are examples of long delays that absolutely stunk when they released (most being high end long hyped IP debuts)

Sports Story is all you need to think about when it comes to any sense of rushing this thing or being upset it isn’t here today. I don’t see a world where it isn’t stellar when it does launch because there’s no doubt the duo has faced a ton of pressure, including inside their own heads… to get it in our hands. And they’re still holding strong on their timeline and vision.

I have a lot of faith in it and in them.

[–]Vicfendan 3 points4 points  (1 child)

What about sports story? I don't know any context.

[–]AnimalCaretaker93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Played Golf Story, mayb 2hrs deep in Sports atm.

The game hinges upon completing a 9 hole course at a location before doing the next zone - think Mario hub-world style. With Sports Story (thus far) the game’s core functionality in requiring the golf is met with a juxtaposition of a mediocre golfing mechanic. They stripped a lot of the readability in this golf-specific game and lumped it with more medioce story writing. Further, the world use to feel large with a lot of meaningful side-quests/fun stories, now feels larger with a lot of fluff/purposeless story.

TL/DR: The charm of the game died with boring plot filler quests. The golf mechanics are still mandatory and were stripped of any sort of skill.

[–]rsn_lie 353 points354 points  (70 children)

This is a game by a 3 person dev team that is a sequel to possibly the biggest indie darling of all time.

This game was always going to be in the oven for a long time. The fandom really needs to stop thirsting for it at every gaming news dump. I know a lot of people have expectations that it's coming out soon because of last year's xbox showcase, but y'all need to seriously consider the possibility this game is a year plus out.

[–]SacredNose 52 points53 points  (1 child)

It's like when elden ring got announced. At the time, people were acting as if it was in development for 10 years. Just chill out.

[–]FriedeOfAriandel 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I mean, from soft has 100x the employees so idk if I see your point. We didn't know elden ring was going to be as enormous or as great as it was. Dark souls 3 is comparatively tiny and was release two years after 2

[–]carnaxcce 266 points267 points  (33 children)

Oh no, people have expectations because a showcase explicitly said it'd be out by June, playtesters confirmed it'd be out by June, and Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo all have it on their "games releasing this year" list? Surely it is the fans who are wrong and need to keep their expectations in check

[–]rsn_lie 10 points11 points  (24 children)

Fair enough. This year it's reasonable to be disappointed by a delay. The last couple years the fandom has been people being ridiculous though, imo.

I still think people should brace themselves for a possible delay.

[–]xLuky 14 points15 points  (2 children)

As a marketer.

u/Further_Beyond desperately needs to not mash the post button 5 times while his phone is lagging. Would solve the issue of him posting the same thing 5 times. People are mad they had to read the same thing 5 times years ago and basically silence since. Posting once would have slated communications, unveiling only 1 posts amount of info at the right times, running socials, building hype at a reasonable pace and level setting post times.

[–]thatguyoverthere202 38 points39 points  (1 child)

This is a well known Reddit bug in the official app and had nothing to do with their phone lagging.

You'll get a popup that says "unable to post at this time, please try again" and upon trying again multiple times you'll find the post has been made multiple times.

Why he doesn't delete it, I don't know, but he's not at fault for it happening.

[–]Further_Beyond 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I still don’t even see I commented lol. Oh well.

[–]aclashofthings 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Any time something gets delayed I just think about Cyberpunk. They should take all the time they need.

[–]Further_Beyond 8 points9 points  (5 children)

As a marketer.

TC desperately needs to hire on a marketer. Would solve every issue people have. People are mad we heard something years ago and basically silence since. Hiring one would have slated communications, unveiling the right amount of info at the right times, running socials, building hype at a reasonable pace and level setting release times.

[–]under_a_brontosaurus 8 points9 points  (4 children)

They need to spend money on someone to... Tell people it's being developed?

What a waste of money. They are doing fine. We deserve silence. It'll be out when it's out. We aren't making it, they are. It needs no hype. The first game will sell the second.

[–]5Hjsdnujhdfu8nubi 38 points39 points  (2 children)

Silksong has to be the only game where requests for more info is unironically met with "We don't need to know anything!".

[–]TPO_Ava 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I get it though. Original HK was great, it was too difficult for me but I still think it was a great game. The visuals, the atmosphere, the gameplay. We know they can do it right, so let's give them the opportunity to do so.

[–]5Hjsdnujhdfu8nubi 6 points7 points  (0 children)

We can, but we can also say "Hey, the game hasn't been seen in proper depth since its initial reveal. What's up with that?"

If Team Cherry want to handle marketing themselves, that's the explanation for the drought - they can't balance everything. But marketing can be handled by other people, same way they handed the Switch port and translations to other people.

[–]cabose12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PR staff is pretty important, only reason TC gets away without having one is because people will buy this game regardless of information

99% of games don't have that luxury

Possibly the biggest indie darling of all time

Stardew Valley would like to have a word...

    [–]LADYBIRD_HILL 62 points63 points  (2 children)

Or Minecraft, one of the best selling games of all time...

    [–]Whereyaattho 47 points48 points  (0 children)

    [–]EmeraldJirachi 3 points4 points  (3 children)

God i followed that games blog post for years, the moment it released i was so happy

    [–]rfp0231 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Wait there was a blog? Was that when it was being developed? Would love to read it

    [–]MstrKief 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Dude just typed some words and says it as fact. Reddit is weird

    [–]Zorua3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Minecraft is by far the biggest

    Undertale is behind it

    Nothing else comes close

    [–]Plz_Trust_Me_On_This 11 points12 points  (0 children)

but y'all need to seriously consider the possibility this game is a year plus out

fastens red nose, adjusts curly multi-color wig, smacks freshly painted red mouth

    I will not!

    [–]pete4live_gaming 5 points6 points  (1 child)

Everyone knew it was gonna be in the oven a long time. The real problem is the non-existent communication since 2029. They kept everyone updated with blogs and tweets and even published a demo at E3 that year. After E3 they went completely radio silent without any sign off or announcement for 4+ years. If it wasn't for the 2 page interview in a random pretty unknown gaming magazine in 2020 and the trailer at Microsoft game showcase last year, no one would even know if the game existed at all anymore.

    [–]GoodBot88 18 points19 points  (3 children)

I hope the team will continue to ignore the pressure. Gamers are the best at own-goaling this kinda stuff, like when they pressured CDPR to finish Cyberpunk and of course the unfinished game was shit on release.

    [–]shapookya 36 points37 points  (1 child)

Management mismanages their product and releases it in a shitty state.

Gamers: "It's the gamers' fault for pressuring them."

    Stop giving them excuses.

    [–]SimplyQuid 8 points9 points  (0 children)

People, people, please. We can all be wrong here.

    [–]nekodazulic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well, it goes both ways. The expectations of the people, even the bare knowledge that the game exists, is often build by your marketing. If as a company you make a decision to build up hype to a certain level, your developers are going to answer it. I have absolutely zero sympathy for a studio shipping a broken product under self imposed expectations and time windows and I don't think audience should be blamed for this at all.

    [–]chocotripchip 7 points8 points  (0 children)

that is a sequel to possibly the biggest indie darling of all time.

Could've been Terraria 2 but we're still waiting.......

    [–]hollowknight696 5 points6 points  (1 child)

A 3 person team? Like they haven't hire anyone since the release of HK ? Didn't the first game sell really well ? Haven't they made some good money that they could spend to hire a few more people? If that's the case, it's baffling. Asking serious question here.

    [–]non_clever_username 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I’m guessing they definitely could have, but probably didn’t want to. More people = more opinions that might skew what they want to do with the game.

    Downside is obviously they’re slower.

    [–]verfresht 0 points1 point  (5 children)

I am not sure. I think when they showed it years ago at E3 Nintendo, people assumed its close to be finished. Maybe there was a lack of communication indicating that its in the beginning stage or they had unexpected delays.

    [–]otakuloid01 1 point2 points  (3 children)

hmmm i wonder what could have happened starting from the year 2019…….

    [–]LasDekuNut 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Umm nothing. Pandemic didn't take off until mid 2020, and this is a 2 person team in a town in Australia that was not effective by the pandemic.

Team Cherry themselves said it had no impact.

    [–]verfresht -1 points0 points  (1 child)

Maybe one day we will find out. I am not sure if they did the right decision to let people in the dark, every nintendo direct, this game was talked about as rumor. Maybe it just added to the hype.

    [–]pooldonutzero 2 points3 points  (0 children)

we pretty much already know, they just wanted to keep adding stuff and make it better and better insatiably. The game wasn't even supposed to launch on Xbox or PS and yet now it is

    [–]Radvillainy -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

yeah the fanbase should just not do the thing every single fanbase has always done without exception. It's such a simple solution thank you

    [–]D1rtyH1ppy -2 points-1 points  (1 child)

Team Cherry really should have taken the massive success of HK and hired more people to help build SS. To stay a two or three person team and not growing as a studio is kind of foolish.

    [–]SuperRayman001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unless they really wanted to stay a small team because it's more fun for them and all the money allows them to do it? Not everyone is always out to maximize profits.

    [–]QuothTheRaven713 38 points39 points  (6 children)

Team Cherry is only 3 people, plus I just started Hollow Knight. They can take as long as they need as far as I'm concerned.

    [–]wheenus 64 points65 points  (3 children)

Oh good, I'm glad you gave them the green light

    [–]akurra_dev 4 points5 points  (2 children)

As an indie dev, it makes me feel good to see comments like the one you sarcastically responded to.

It's not "giving the green light" but more showing us devs that the people who get angry and screech about unrealistic things are the vocal minority.

    [–]non_clever_username -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Get ready for lots of frustration! And fun too….but more frustration.

    [–]DarthMailman 12 points13 points  (2 children)

I'm not convinced this is a real game anymore.

    [–]D81000 -1 points0 points  (1 child)

    There's a trailer...

    [–]DarthMailman 4 points5 points  (0 children)

    I was being facetious.

    [–][deleted] 5 points6 points  (1 child)

Long-anticipated videogames and squirrely fan communities obsessing over every detail or lack thereof go together like adorable bugmen and ill-starred underground kingdoms (remember in 2021 when Elden Ring fans were losing their minds (opens in new tab) because there was no new information about it for more than a year?), and the Hollow Knight community is showing signs of crossing a similar psychic threshold after the sequel did not make an appearance in Nintendo's showcase.

This guy needs an editor. WTF is even going on in this article

May I ask why people enjoyed the original so much? When I played it felt like a pretty middle of the road metroidvania.

Best sense of immersion, best exploration, best worldbuilding out of any metroidvania imo.

Everything felt like it made sense, you could barely switch around any 2 rooms, even within the same area, without creating a plothole or at least make it feel a bit weird. Items are also always placed in spots where they make sense to be.

Example: Mantis claws are not locked behind a boss despite being one of the most important upgrades, because it wouldn't make sense for them to heavily guard what is nothing special for the tribe. They'd use them all the time, so of course they're just lying around.

There is no other metroidvania that is THIS open. After you get the walljump, you go from having access to 3 areas to almost the entire game.

So many secrets that genuinely feel like secrets. You can miss entire areas without ever knowing it. There is nothing making sure that you find it, which would make it feel a lot less special.

I really liked the combat, controls and characters too, but the world is what really sets it apart from other metroidvanias and imo makes it the best in the genre. The way areas are connected, the way everything makes logical sense and the way secrets are handled. They even managed to make their boss rush canon and have it make sense!

Stellar atmosphere, character design, and soundtrack. I also love how much control over the knight you have and it feels great to play. The amount of customization you have over your abilities with the charm system is also fun to play around with. The combat can be challenging but always fair. When I take a hit I never feel like I was robbed, I always know exactly what I did wrong. It's probably my favorite Metroidvania

Is this DLC or a sequel? Always thought it was DLC but I see it talked about more like a full game

    [–]HayakuEon 27 points28 points  (4 children)

Originally planned to be a DLC for base Hollow Knight.

But it got way too big so they decided to make a separate game for it.

Ah that makes sense and explains my confusion around it - I haven’t been following it too closely because I still have the original in my backlog but looking forward to playing it

Full game, has been announced as sequel 4 years ago.

Oh, he is asking for us to wait !!! I wonder what we have all be doing all this time. 🤡🤡🤡

Jokes aside, for me they can take as long as they want if we get a game as good as the first one. Thats my hype bar.

Omori fans waited 8 years for their game and Hollow Night fans go thermonuclear when the game doesn't come out tomorrow

I can't get excited about this unless they announce it will have an easy/assist mode. First game was way too difficult for me.

This game could spit on me and I'd say thank you. Team Cherry can literally take as long as they need.

they shouldn't have said it would come in the first half of 2023 if they wanted us to be patient.

Mfers forget that the dev team behind both Hollow Knight and Silksong is conposed of just three people.

I'm tired of people talking about it. Just release it so people will shut up about it

    [–]Superpan21 -4 points-3 points  (2 children)

It will be Duke Nukem Forever all over again. Once the game is released, it will be an epic failure.

This game went from AA to AAA to AAAA
