First time posting, discriminatory management or not? First time posting, discriminatory management or not?
Experiences

I was hired as a GA, but my old manager told me they'd give me a raise, if I could lift 50 lbs. (I was not able to lift it) but they told me to stay in my position as it will no longer be available to me or ANYONE, either way. Cut to a few months later they leave and theres a new manager. Now, from what I know, the old manager that hired me never hires women, except for seasonals, then he left... the new manager seems to only hire women and I'm left feeling discriminated against? I'm not sure what to do to be real, it feels like I was gaslit to stay here and be a GA, meanwhile these other girls have less work expirience than me, and I'm sitting on when can I become a keyholder with 5 years of retail expirience, instead of hiring the next collage dunce. The new manager avoids me, but said as long as I make some of the quota I'll be fine... im unsure if this is because who I am as an individual, but I'm scared to bring it up to hr, cause I've always heard hr is for the company and not you. Any advice would help
