Lots of interesting stuff in this interview with Mike Brown. It makes me sad that he could not attend the first playoff win during his ownership (as he was home with a mild case of Covid).

"I build up an anxiety as we get toward the games. If we win, it lifts a weight off me that I can physically feel. The burden is hard to convey. I’ve wanted to succeed so badly," said Brown.
"I want it to be right," said Brown. "I want a winning team. In all honesty, my goal in life would be to have a dominant team. I lived through that with my father’s teams in Cleveland. Unfortunately, we ran into Pittsburgh and they dominated for a couple decades."
"I’ve never seen anyone as intense as Joe. He reminds me of Peyton" Manning. "He was on top of the game. You always felt he was a step ahead. Joe has some of that. And he has made us believe."

I’ve been very critical of Mike Brown over the years, but last night a lot of that was wiped away with his speech right after the game. I feel like there are very few owners who would focus a good bit of their Conference Championship speech recognizing that there are plenty of other teams who possess the talent and passion necessary to be standing where he is.
Also, when the camera showed Mike sitting by himself in a traditional looking stadium seat stuck with me. Dude just seems really chill and down to earth.
Oh, and love the badass trench coat, Mike 😜.
