I thought she was a raunchy, dirty slut taking cheap stabs at comedy BUT after listening to her interview today I was wrong. First I am truly amazed at her humility after arguably the greatest night of her career and the most notoriety she’s ever had. She was unabashedly honest and raw about her most intimate struggles and private life. She was incredibly inspiring talking about her approach to comedy, and mastering her craft. Her preparation for the roast, how serious she was about it and how tirelessly she worked were truly motivating. I am NOW a fan. I also know I’m gonna catch shit for this because positivity and compliments are unwelcome here but I truly believe all of us swimming in this sea of negativity, myself included, can all have learned something from Nikki today.
