He was one of the most efficient rookies of all time last year and looked great beside Trae, why does he not play at all?

With Beyoncé set to perform in Atlanta tonight, tomorrow and Monday, it’s safe to say that AJ Griffin of the Hawks will not be in attendance. Maybe he’ll go to Arkansas next week with Jonathan Isaac to watch Lecrae perform instead!

Does this condemnation of Beyoncé make it more likely that he’ll be traded to ?

This more aimed towards Hawks Twitter and shame on me for taking basketball discussions on twitter seriously, but I’ve gotta get something off my chest. I’ve seen good amount of hawks twitter saying AJ can go if it means we get Pascal. Idk about y’all but AJ Griffin single handedly made Hawks basketball worth watching way too often then he should have for me last szn. 2 game winner as a rookie and flashes that makes me think he can be a top 10 SG(Yes I’m bias) in this league. Once he puts it together defensively, he’ll be a problem. He’s only a rookie but he 100% has the tools to be a positive defender. Not to mention this team is ass at shooting, which the FO addressed this offszn thankfully, but AJ just shot 39% from 3 as a rookie. I’m excited to watch him develop and turn into a star and definitely not ready to give him up after only one year for a one year rental. If AJ is the dealbreaker for the Pascal trade would you do the deal? I’ve got more but I think I’ve said enough. Thanks for listening to my rant.

He's only played 7 games this season and he's averaging just 9 minutes in those games. I thought he showed a lot of promise in his rookie season, Hawks fans, what happened??

If he didn't get minutes yesterday, it seems to me that this is a personal matter between Quin and him. My eyes fall to the floor every time I see Garrison Matthews, Patty Mills or Trent Forrest play ahead of him.

You'll say he's playing poorly every time he's gotten minutes, but after watching Bey start so many games that argument falls apart.

AJ is a 20 year old asset, who has had very good minutes with our team, including two game winners it is incomprehensible that he is not getting minutes even with the team plagued with injuries, he is one of the few valuable assets we have and should play or else send him to the G-League with Bufkin who is only a month younger than him.

It makes absolutely no sense what Quin is doing with this player.

AJ showed so many flashes last year he was one of my favorite players to watch. This season he’s playing less minutes than even last year. And it’s not just because he’s young, Jalen Johnson is getting a lot of run. Should we be worried, should I expect more minutes as the season goes, is he even good?

AJ Griffin has officially been ruled out due to personal reasons for a 4th consecutive game. Is it possible that he might’ve requested a trade? I feel like if it was a family-related absence, Adrian Griffin (Bucks coach) would’ve been impacted as well. Is it possible that AJ requested a trade due to the lack of playtime? I’m getting by Cam Reddish flashbacks for some reason.

Is Adrian Darnell "AJ" Griffin Jr. the best basketball player of all time? The competition is tough between him and Onyeka Okongwu, but I think he takes the edge. Thoughts?

Most of the mocks have him in the 5-10 range and I’m curious why. As a Duke fan he’s had some great shooting nights but it was usually against weaker comp. His wide shooting stance works for set shots in college but Im doubtful in the pros it works. Also he is a bit slow for his size and leaping ability seems to peaked in high school. Physically it looks like he could hold his own and maybe be a good defender though. What do you guys think ? Under or overrated

I was really high on AJ Griffin for the Cavs pick this year at 14 then he slipped to you guys.

I was against picking Ochai and he doesn’t seem to be in the rotation for Utah right now.

I was just wondering how AJ Griffin has been doing for the team. I’ve seen some eye popping stat lines but haven’t watched many Hawks games yet this season
