I'm rewatching the Tales of Arcadia because I'm a manchild who refuses to grow up and I recently finished 3Below and it blew me away how good it was
S1 was kinda meh especially after TrollHunters which is a masterclass in storytelling for a kids show but it had some high points. The comedy was actually a lot better than I remember and the visuals were stellar. It also had some social commentary which was actually really interesting
But in S2 is where it got Klebbing awesome, The build up to Gaylens core was awesome, Stuart got less funny but it got balanced out by Toby and Eli becoming larger characters. The whole DJ Kleb thing was literally so just good, I can't put into words how much I liked the the subplot but I digress
Krel's arc was done surisply well, It wasn't nearly as good as anything on TrollHunters but it was still awesome to see his progression from hating Earth to accepting it as his home and staying there. And how he got more action focused scenes instead of just being the token smart guy
And I haven't even mentioned Steve and Aja, Staja was good, I need that shi injected into my veins like heroin. Steve slowly becoming more and more of a good person was awesome to see, Like he had an arc in TrollHunters but 3B fleshed him out way more. And the sexual tension between him and Eli was off the chain
TL;DR: Maybe I misjudged 3Below, I was a stark hater of it for years but the rewatch has really opened my mind to it. And I'm pretty sure its what got me into dommy mommys when I was like 13 lmao

does anyone know the song that plays in P2 E7 of 3below while Krel is telling everyone what to do ??

i feel Like Krel was one of the most mistreated Character in the trilogy after his Series (and i don't count the Movie) because even if Steve was a bit Dumb in Wizards i Saw people Still enjoy him but Krel name one thing that Krel Did in Wizards outside of building the time trap with Douxie which was Mostly used by Douxie to trap the Arcane order.
So how would you use Krel after 3below coming into Wizards or do you think he he Serve his roleafter 3below.

We got like 2 parts bit the characters are so endearing and interesting. And the story is so immersive that we could have a hundred episode story and I'd still want more.... throw Toby and Aarrg in as well.

3Below’s main antagonist was a god that could rule or conquer the universe (iirc) and losing could mean the destruction or control of the universe (iirc again). Rise of the Titans had 3 gigantic powerful titans that threaten Earth and losing could mean the reset of Earth (Earth vs the entire universe is a pretty big difference)
Though this is just from memory and I haven’t watched 3Below in a while.

I thought it was rather pathetic that Morando got Gaylen’s core so easily. It didn’t really speak well of the competence of the protagonists. I’m also rather surprised that that Colonel Kubritz was dumb enough to just let him have it, when they had no good reason to trust Morando and the core could (potentially) have been used to create a human wizard instead.
Lastly, I have to say that the moments of action and drama were undermined by the attempts at humour. At least with Trollhunter, the serious parts were serious, even if there was plenty of silliness.

My 6 year old (and her parents...) loves the Trollhunters series - so much so that we've re-watched it several times. I finally convinced her to start watching 3Below and OMG it's not anywhere near as good. After we finish and episode of 3Below I feel...like...worn out. They're so much more frenetic then Trollhunters and the story doesn't feel as engaging.(also having to listen to Nick Offerman yell for a half an hour is harming my sanity.)

I’ve been reading thru posts and have been seeing a lot of bad stuff about 3Below. I think the show is great!! The characters are great, like varvatos and Stuart and the parent bots and Steve is GREAT in this show. The adventures are amazing and when they go to different planets it’s great. The emotions are high, the villains are tense, and it’s overall a great show in my opinion.

As promised in , here is the poll for canon 3Below ships. I am not including ships like Darby and Stricklake in this poll, even though they both had cameos within 3Below, because they were established within Trollhunters. I will not be creating a third poll for Wizards since there was only one ship canonically established in that show; all other canon ships for Wizards were either established in previous shows or only available in deleted scenes.
Conrad is the girl Shannon kissed; her name was confirmed by Aaron Waltke.
Zadrita is canon-adjacent, as AC Bradley and Mark Guggenheim confirmed that it was part of a deleted scene on twitter. Even though it was deleted and therefore not actually canon 😥 I am including it in the poll.

I’m sure that most of us would all agree that Trollhunters was the best, but wither 3below or wizards was better, that’s something people continue to have different opinions about. So, what do you all think? :) (I personally enjoyed wizards a lot more than 3below)

After reading in the Merc that 3Below went a whole day without a single ticket sale I went with my family to a flick — the first time in a theater in over a year. They are the last movie theater left in the downtown area and need your business now to survive. The owners are good people with a love of cinema.
We saw Cruella which was is the backstory of Cruella de Ville of 101 Dalmatians. It was a great flick with good acting, fun (and dark) storyline, and great music. It was less of a kid’s movie from Disney which was a surprise.
I felt safe since we are vaccinated, the ventilation is great, only every other row was seated and there were only 6 people in the whole theater. Parking upstairs is validated.
The lobby was recently remodeled and also serves as a cafe (which doesn’t require a movie ticket). They also sell beer and wine. The staff are friendly which is a welcome change from the chain theaters.
Consider visiting there either now or in the near future.
