Ashawn is the unsung hero of this d line in this game. This dude is a run stopper and he destroyed the 49ers running attack. An absolute menace man

Was watching The Entertainahs live stream earlier and lpg says the Robinson thing is about a done deal. Obviously cant vouch for this myself but didnt see it in the sub so I figured I'd post. If true our run defense is nasty through and through.

Davis looked like hot garbage, Robinson didn't suit up, and Tabor is a special teamer? These are our top draft picks the last couple years... This development has to be as concerning as anything else about the season opener. If we missed on our top picks these last couple years then it would appear we are on the fast track towards yet another rebuild mode... iwannadie.jpg

2nd year player, 2nd round pick.
Played 40% of the defensive snaps last year, and 61% this year.
Leads all DTs in pass breakups since entering the league. (T-1st in 2017 and 1st in 2016)
I don't have a PFF subscription so I don't know about his run stopping or pass rushing grades.
But -
With all the talk of our front 7 laying eggs and making one of the best secondaries in the league look bad, is he part of the issue? Can he grow to be a good or great DT? Should we look into drafting another DT early?
He didn't have very many "oh, wow" plays this season other than his pick 6, but I was really high on him coming out of college. Just wondering what you all think of him.
