It’d make a formidable opponent to any adversary, and of course, it can fly.

The Angel of the North is ugly

I hate the angel of the north. People say it’s a thing of pride and a work of art. But it’s just a ugly lump of metal. It doesn’t look like angel or not one I’d want to meet. Look I get art can be a distortion or reimagining of real life. I don’t think art has to look pretty per se. I just hate this statue. I don’t think it represents anything and I’m tired of people saying it does. It’s a blight on the landscape.

Why does it seem like no one knows how to use the A1 between the Angel of the North and Great Park?

Why does it seem like no one knows how to use the A1 between the Angel of the North and Great Park?

The amount of people who just sit in the middle lane totally oblivious to everything around them is incredible. Most of the time it actually seems to be quicker to sit in the left lane and cruise past everyone. Yes, the left lane turns into an exit at the MetroCentre, but there's no excuse to be using the middle lane as you go past B&Q towards Great Park. They still don't take the hint when you end up undertaking them at 60 (in the 60 zone) and other cars are going past on the right at 60+.

If cars are passing you on both the left and right...take fucking hint and move over!

End of rant.
