A bit late to post this, but it means that this phone has received 8 years of support (2011-2019), beating out the legendary HD2 with its 7 years (2009-2016) and becoming the phone with the longest unofficial support thus far (unless there is some other device with longer support, in that case, please inform me).

Am I the only one really loving the Android 10 gestures? Helps me basically operate my phone one handed once I got the hang of it.

Okay, so I guess One UI 2.0 is confusing people because I still see people posting stuff about the update in the subreddit. From now on please post any updates and stuff related to the update here so the rest of the subreddit can continue with the regular stuff.

Once again I know it is the last update and everyone is hyped but please just use this thread.

How do I get Android 10?

All Pixel devices will get the official update over the next week, including those currently enrolled in the Beta program. If you own a Pixel device, watch for your official over-the-air update (OTA) coming soon! As always, the system images for Pixel devices are for manual download and flash.

Note: Beta users who install the official Android 10 update will no longer be able to downgrade to Android 9 Pie via OTA. Once the official release is installed, any time you un-enroll from the Beta your device will automatically be put back on the public track and your device will not get wiped.

Un-enrolling your device from the Beta program prior to receiving the official Android 10 update will wipe your device.

Just wanted to share my appreciation as a Google pixel 1 user that it can run Android 10! It runs so smooth and I love the accents and gestures. (I won't lie, it took me 30 plus minutes to actually learn I had to swipe to go back.)

Overall, I really love my pixel and I'm happy the first gen got included with the update!
