AMA.

I have to pack up my duffle and fly to Taco Bell headquarters in Downey, California, tomorrow. We're having a special pre-Thanksgiving feast. But thank you SO much for being here with me on my first ever Reddit AMA. This was incredible. I never expected this sort of reaction and this level of excitement. YOU made it this awesome and I'm extremely grateful.

Advice Seeker: I'm dating a guy who refuses to give up on his dreams of rock stardom. While it's admirable in a way, I need a little bit more stability if we're going to make this work. How can I gently break this to him?

Andrew WK: Don't you dare say anything to him about giving up his dream. You're not the right person for him. Never ask someone to give up on their dream just so you can feel more stable. It's his choice and his choice alone, no matter how ridiculous his dream may seem to you, or to society, or even to himself. Dreams make humans into self-realized individuals. Your only responsibility is to love everything about him, including his dreams. The idea of "making this work" sounds more like a way to make his life more boring and predictable. At worst, it's a genuine sadistic desire to control someone else because your own life feels out of control — or a cruel need to dominate and break someone's spirit for the sake of your own peace of mind. Look for stability and peace of mind inside yourself, and not in your relationships or the dreams of others.

You may have felt the power of partying through my music, my writing, or my speeches and lectures. But however you came in contact with this feeling, I'm just thankful that it brought you here, and we're partying together now. I have new album coming out March 2nd, 2018. The album is called, "You're Not Alone", and if you're on this AMA right now, I certainly hope you feel the gloriously palpable presence of the party spirit, surging through your soul.

They used to be guaranteed every year. Andrew missed last year and that was the first domino to fall. I was expecting TBS and GWAR to be added in a later wave but we're less than a month out and got another lineup revision today, and yet, nowhere to be found. This will be the first Riot without TBS since 2016, and the first time GWAR has missed it since 2011, the first time they've missed the fest since it moved outside.

Has anybody heard anything about if Andrew W.K. will still be on the S.S Neverender?

It seems like something is going on with him...he dropped from Furnace Fest and deleted all of his social media accounts and websites. Anthony Green (who was a last minute addition to Furnace Fest, so I am wondering if he replaced him) tweeted sending good thoughts to Andrew and when somebody asked what happened to him, AG replied and said he "needed time."

I am beginning to wonder if he's going to drop out of the S.S. Neverender as well. He's still on the lineup. I like him but obviously he's not the reason I am going on the trip....I'm just starting to be curious if there will be a last minute lineup change and if anybody knew anything.
