The real home of Total War. We simply respect the gameplay. The gameplay must be respected.
It's pretty cool.
Its (loosely) based on the Raiding-warfare that was much more common IRL than the pitched battles we see in movies and in total war. It features Smaller scale total war style RTS tactical combat based on flanking and positioning, but a company of heroes style battle system where you send out small squads to fight for control over villages.
Its like company of heroes and Total War mixed together, overall its pretty cool.

Ancestors Legacy is a real-time strategy video game developed by Polish studio Destructive Creations and published by 1C Company. It was released on Microsoft Windows on May 22, 2018, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on August 13, 2019, and Nintendo Switch on June 11, 2020.
I got Ancestor Legacy and I am really loving it. I am really glad i got the game and having a lot of fun. Currently trying to play the Campaigns and The stories are pretty great with great historical accuracy.
My primary aim of playing RTS is to get my brain some Stimulation and also learn about history. I am not a very multiplayer oriented player but play a lot with AI.
So far Ancestor's Legacy's Take on the RTS Genre is really great. I was tired of the old right click stuff. i have been playing W3 for ages and AOEO but this game isa real fresh air for the genre.
I tried the Demo first then i got the game.
Few Favs from the game
Ability to do flank and ambush from environment
Attack commit in squads
Clever use of traps and other systems to get advantage.
Terrain is a huge advantage when playing the game.
The squad based and gear upgrade for soldiers instead of building upgrade.
Epic Eargasm
Good AI
Its really worth for the current price and I am pretty sure people who like COH will really love it.
